So, I actually quite liked the video. I have to admit that. Seeing Alex and Mark was pleasant. But I have an embarrassing question to ask: Where exactly is the promo code they mentioned? I watched the entire thing and all it says is to click the link in the description for it, and that just leads to the news announcement that points to the video. I'm probably blind and just missing something here, but I'd really appreciate help.

This is better than the Centurion Champion that was released waaaay back (C-bill bonus on it).

No regrets on selling that variant (didn't need the XP bonus) now (can't sell this variant, but why would I sell a C-bill bonus variant?).

Now that we've sorted that out, opinions on the look? How is everyone building theres?

I'm thinking AC/10 (50 rounds for maximum pot shotting from max range), two Medium Pulse Lasers, and the biggest STD engine I can cram in. Or is being a zombie not worth the tonnage cost?

Well, while we're here, I have a confession to make. I've... I've never piloted a Centurion before. In any game. I just never got around to trying it. So right now I'm actually thinking about running this thing in its lore loadout for excrement and giggles.

AC/10, LRM10, Medium Lasers... not catastrophically bad, as far as lore builds go. Good luck with the Nissan 200, though. Might get a bit rough.

Well, you had to buy something to get that...

Even then, the energy hardpoints is kind of a dealbreaker IMO (ammo-bound mechs are not my thing).

I have a feeling it will feel like I'm driving this when I pilot it using that engine.



Still, gonna try it.

Hmmm, looking at it, might modify it to be running the Centurion D loadout. Those DHS and Ferro armor are really tempting. Realized that it has too small of an engine cap for fitting the 300 XL of the D. Welp.

Yup. The Centurion has a pretty low engine cap.

Just gave stock a shot in a testing ground. I had forgotten about the other problem - It can't sink heat for beans. I was on Caustic, sure, but I couldn't even fire my AC/10 without overheating.

It's got a good ammo load though.
