This thread needs more pics of the coolest looking Mech in all Battletech. Ever. And of course in MWO, too.
The King Crab.
Everything else is just metal.

so many choices.

Gun to the head I would vote Atlas. I think it has the perfect balance of looking modern and updated while being unmistakably tied to the source material. But I suppose that holds true for a lot of the models.

That's just the halo it creates when every laser on the map hits it and obliterates it in a spilt second.

My favourite. Although I like the more cubic non-Invasion geo a bit more. But when I finally can see it in Smoke Jags camo my opinion might change...

EDIT: If PGI only would reapproach those huge energy hardpoints and make them reasonably smaller. Plus PPC into the arm, not attached to it. I keep dreaming of it...

Noooooooooo, I like the big boxes! The derp-factor is what compels me to it!

Either way, though, it would still need an armor quirk to the arms to be better. I'd rather they just double down on the quirk. :P

I think the Summoner, Hellbringer, Executioner, and Kodiak are the best-looking Clan 'mechs. The first three look like they walked out of TRO3050U, while the Kodiak jumped right out of its Battletech CCG card.

I really like all six of the Project Phoenix 'mechs. They are great re-imaginings of the unseen designs.

I think as far as best looking from their original art to their current iterations it's gotta be a tie between the Catapult and the Stalker.

I see Catapults getting posted but the lack of K2 pictures is pretty dissapointing. In remembrance of the old PPC barrels.

Just quoting this because it's one the most awesome and stylish screenshots ever produced with this game. This mech is true art. A masterpiece that sold the game for many back in the day.

There was even that stunning lego version by one of the devs afaik.

Love the Marauder. Catapult is very nice too. Very good modernization on both. Sadly, the Warhammer is not quite the Wet 'mechdream of my Youth like the forementioned two. I think it's the arms being too.. dunno.. Slim?

after all the weird and funny cockpit items we have gotten, why is there yet not a bacon cockpit item? I remember the devlog when they talked about it and probably found it too usnerious, yet we have a easteregg dropship and a zombie atlas and other unserious stuff.

It's hard to pick just one, but I'd have to say the Timber Wolf closely followed by the Catapult and then the Atlas.

Spoiler

Runner ups include the Hellbringer, Summoner, Shadowcat, and Griffin
