One hero concept at a time this time around. They all have custom geometry that has increased the time it takes to make them by around %heaps.

I'll post them all in this topic though, so stay tuned for the usual set of three.

HYPERION-3
The Hyperion Project was black R&D project of Clan Nova Cat. It was first envisioned by Khan Abram Radick to be a secret weapon that would dominate any short-ranged trial rival clans might call for. Three Supernovas were assembled from the ground up and re-engineered to accept larger engine classes but only the third survived weapon testing phases intact. The final prototype was stored within the Nova Cat Keshic grand armory where it gathered dust until Radicks successor Severen Leroux rediscovered it. Intrigued, Leroux brought the mech back into the light to reassess its effectiveness. Test pilots found Hyperion-3 to be incredibly dangerous due to the massive potential for catastrophic meltdown if strict firing discipline was not respected. For this reason alone the Hyperion Project was fully abandoned in favor of a focused effort towards incoming omni-mech projects.

ps: I know about PGIs weapons limit. And I choose to ignore it.

Looks great! (as all your repaints)

One note on the loadout: I recommend removing 1 DHS and upgrading the Targeting Computer for MKII (thus making the mech TT compatible).

PS: I suppose you would fire the weapons in groups of 6 to avoid ghost heat. For the small recharge rate of the ERSL, is this fully effective? Or do you lose some volleys in the process?

As always, your work is top-notch.

Despite your preference towards filthy clan-mechs.

I would macro it Posted Image . 6-6-6 as fast and often as possible. If not, You only need 1 arm and torso for poking. and losing an arm will still leave you with 2 full laser batteries.

I also had fun with a similar setup on the DIre and this is faster and cooler. Very situation dependent though. I don't expect it to be a very useful mech unless you can edge it close to the enemy without being shot to pieces.

I'll check your recommendation. not sure what you mean since I never played TT. :)

Quote from Sarna.net:
Clan Targeting Computers weigh one ton and occupy one critical slot for every five tons of equipment they control.

Since your Supernova build uses 18 ER-Smalls, which together weigh 9 tons, the mech would require a MKII Targeting Computer, weighing 2 tons and taking up 2 critical slots, to fully make use of them.

And trust me, in TT, with Targeting Computer (MKII), this mech can one-shot basically anything*. (yeah, TargComp is completely broken in TT)

*and without building any heat. o.O

how to make a p2w hardpoint hero.

alos, thats more like a trollbuild than something decent

you also ignored max engines PGI applies Posted Image

but the arms look badass and I would like to see a 12CRML Supernova a sit can wield proper cooling for these loadout.

That is exactly what I would want in a mech. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

The 4 shoulder weapons also would be nice to have a short ranged 4xchainfire setup for something too. that is always nice to add burst too. And obviously do peaking.

I probably missed this, but is that an official(Preexisting) design, one he made up, or a mix?

90 ton mechs cannot be TT compatible with a 400 engine. It would move 4.4444444 hexes per turn, which would get rather annoying.

Also true.
The largest engine a Supernova could use is a 360? Right?

Pop out the chest lasers, stick one in the head, shave half a ton of armor off, and you'll have 6-5-6 with room for the TC2. Posted Image
