let me ask you something,

Why was "broke" your first word of choice here?

Probably because that's what will happen to every Linebacker, it looks badass, but the CT is larger and easier to hit than on any other mech

"Broke"
Because I have never seen a mech getting shot by streaks and all hits registering to the CT.
He also gets shot from above at on epoint and they still register the CT.

I don't know what your definition of "all hit the CT!" is...

^ but mine is certainly literally the opposite of that.

looks pretty agile, though. At least twisting shouldn't be a problem.

well its coming with a whole bunch of armor/struct quirks... unlike the huntsman which suffers somewhat similar disfunction..

You don't seem know about how Streaks function. Streaks do not care how big a torso section is. It simply rolls the dice and hit whatever section it decides to hit. Sometimes one can get lucky with the rolls.

Am I really out of date in regards to streak specifics, but doesn't it limit it to aiming 2 missiles per launcher at each segment? Or am I just really sleep deprived and speaking out my Clan-engineered arse?

Not a clue. It has been two years since I used SSRMs with any frequency.

Wat.

He took that ST damage in previouse shots, alot of the times I only see the CT flashing, even when its obvious that at least some of the damage should register to the ST.

Last time I used then outside of 2 launchers on lore builds, that's how they worked IIRC. Of course, in practice you can still get an entire SSRM 6 into someone's LT/LA or RT/RA due to angling, but from a frontal/rear view that's how it worked I thought. I'm going to fall unconscious now.

I think Sean was intentionally trying to land CT only hits in that video. Maybe it was so each 1 v 1 could last longer, or something along those lines. If you look at Sean's paper doll, many times the damage looked pretty evenly distributed.

On the flip side though, maybe Spiralface was intentionally spreading their shots intentionally too so that they would lose every engagement for the video.

Really it is hard to say, so we are just going to have to see what happens when it launches.

Now that I think about it I realy dont know how the targeting/component should work for streaks.
I always thought they start with a spread like regular SRMS and just shift direction to hit the locked mech.

Individual missiles from a streak volley lock independently onto different components of a mech. I.e, a few will seek the CT, a few will seek the left arm, a few will seek the right leg, etc etc. They are almost completely un-aim-able. But their damage can be mitigated by torsotwisting.

I don't know off hand how they decide which component to seek however, though in my testing it has seemed pretty random. Sometimes more missiles go straight to the CT, sometimes more of them go to assorted components.

Looks cool. Has same issues like EBJ or TBR (huge nose), but handles it lil better because of its bulky arms so it seems if you torso twist effectively arms will go off rather quickly.
Tho' 16 tons of pod space means you ain't putting much on it.

And for me it seems like it's either laser vomit, lurm support (I know how it sounds Posted Image) or Srm brawler (my favourite setup).

Also I like the fact that it's that quick and agile.

Nope. I did not pre-order it.
