NO one said the WHK was terrible (or any more so then before) he said its main build which he used was nerfed and he is correct. It hurt it, but my triple ERPPC Gauss WHK has no issues. I even still run Triple LPL and 2 Med pulse which hasnt been changed in years.

Reading comprehension fail it would seem. And why would anyone take the advice from a self proclaimed potatoe? Posted Image I would need to see more then ONE MATCH for me to claim that a mech or build was good.

Show me the next 50 matches in that thing without cherry picking the best results and we will get a better idea of where the mech and build sits.

Thats common for him. He reads one statement from someone, and then extrapolates another meaning to the statement, or takes a thread in a different direction rather than respond to the actual statement that offended his thought process.

Because 32 games worth of data is definitive proof that a mech does or does not suck.

The 4 with the WHK-NQ are the only assault games he's played at all this month. So cherry picked historical data of two other WHK variants and 4 recent ones used to sell his argument.

Oh, I just call out ******** wherever I see it. And I already explained how the context of Revis Volek's post; he's free to revise it to make it more clear if he wants.

I didn't do any cherry-picking; those are the only Warhawk's I've played. The Prime and B battles are from September and October, respectively.

Of course, I don't expect any sort of apology from you for that insulting accusation of cherry-picking, because you are completely incapable of ever admitting you are wrong.

Oh, I played another 4 battles in the Warhawk Nanuq; I had a single battle where I derped hard and did barely more than 100 damage, but the other 3 battles were all over 600 with multiple kills.

As I said before, I expect those stats to keep dropping, probably until they hit the 450-500 damage/battle range, with associated drops to W/L and K/D.
Even so, that is still excellent performance compared to my norms; I normally hit 300-400 damage/battle in assaults.

And in case anyone is wondering, I'm running the Nanuq with a quad ER PPC build, which would be stronger on the Prime due to the 8 set quirks that variant gained in the November 15 patch.

Yes, I have the KDK mech package. I enjoyed it. No, I haven't touched a single KDK since the nerf, not even the SB. Oh yeah, I used to run a lot of dakka builds - mostly one UAC backed up with other weapons. Those are no good anymore.

The clan cheese Kodiak not as tasty as before? Maybe add a little more salt? Of course you'd still have to actually taste it before you decide if you like it. Or you could just wash it down with a little more whine.

I guess you dont understand what cherry picking means....

Apology? lol! What are you king of Peace Doves? and demand satisfaction?

You sir need to play more then a few matches to figure out where a mech stand and if the Peace Dove was a such a great mech why i have i seen it a whole ZERO times in any significant comp match? Why is it no the Meta mech to end all meta mechs?

better yet dont answer because i just call out Bull%$it where i see it. :P

Well ok, it sounds like you are talking in comp play terms; I was talking about the solo queue.

Competition play is based on using the most overpowered builds possible, so mechs that don't work in comp play can still be perfectly viable in the solo queue.
I never said the Warhawk was a tier 1 metamech or suitable for comp play, only that it is an excellent mech based on my own results in it.

IMO, a mech doesn't need to be 'top tier' or anything like that to be viable.

Heck, the Warhawk isn't the only mech I'm producing results above my norm in, that aren't considered Tier 1/2 comp worthy.
Eg, in 40 battles with Ebon Jaguar (mostly laser vomit builds) I hit 1.67 W/L, 2.41 K/D and 478 damage/battle, when I normally only hit around 1.1-1.25 W/L, 1.1-1.5 K/D and 350 damage/battle in heavies.

And I would have been cherry-picking if I only used that single high scoring battle as evidence, or if I had only posted my statistics after my first 4 battles in the Nanuq, instead of my performance statistics in all Warhawks.

While the sample of battles is low, more than 30 battles is still sufficient to give some indication of performance; it is unlikely my damage/battle will drop below 450, as that would require numerous low performing battles.

Anecdotal evidence aside I see the same thing with the three now as before. Potatoes potatoe and good players are nearly unaffected. Once my components are some for the event I intend on bringing out my poor man's spirit bear and seeing how it feels but I am pretty sure it will be pokebear from now on. It won't be worth breaking without the twist is my guess.
