I record all my matches with Nvidia Shadowplay. It's useful for checking those moments when you think there's a hitreg issue, or someone is cheating.
Quite often, you realise what you thought you saw wasn't what happened.
But sometimes, like this time, you get verification that something is awry.

Had a Gauss shot destroy my back after i had turned to throw SRM's at a KDK's face on Thursday, this is HSR and it was a good 2 seconds after he shot that my back finally went out and i died. All while slamming my mouse trying to figure out why it was taking so long to fire my SRM's lol. Those 2 seconds of nothing felt like a half minute!
But yea, dunno if it was me or PGI but i and others have been seeing some silly stuff.

And sometimes its just you, or on your end. I often see things and go WTF?!?! then like you said i look over video or realize my ping was 89 instead of 30.
Things do happen, its the nature of the internet really and life but as you said more often then not our brains are just really, really good at convincing us of things.

Yeah. Had a lot of lag and rubber-banding going on as well for the past few days. It has gotten me killed or cost me a kill on a number of occasions in the last few days.

OK, there are other reasons for it, but lurms tend to do some damage even during borked hit-reg.

The worse hitreg seems to get the more reliant on gauss rifles I get to do consistent damage.

You may need to enable it in the BIOS as well. If the utility shows that you have everything in green, you are using the high precision timer.
I haven't noticed any weird hitreg issues since i did that, and i used to get them very frequently.
If it doesnt work for you, just disable it.

Yeah, I imagine it would.
+50% Velocity, -30% heat generation, +10% faster reload and 10% more range.
Warhawk gets 25% more velocity, -8% PPC heat generation and no faster RoF.
Your PPCs are firing like machineguns, while the WHK can fire maybe 8-9 times and its over heating.

Like an ACH at 150m away, same elevation, managed to hit my rear STs from the front. o.O
As far as projectile hitreg goes, I'm not seeing any difference. It's as good as ever.

(My ping/framerate was normal/consistent last night - my ping had all over the place in previous days - when I could even connect to the mwo game).

After that I went to see a psychiatrist to get checked.
