I haven't noticed anything more than what I have seen in the past. There are times with missiles like streaks, srms, and lrms where they don't seem to register if you alpha them and get better results if you chain fire. It's like it doesn't fully count all the damage. I wish they would add a replay system. That way you could go back and see if your shots actually missed.

I record all my matches with Nvidia Shadowplay. It's useful for checking those moments when you think there's a hitreg issue, or someone is cheating.

Quite often, you realise what you thought you saw wasn't what happened.

But sometimes, like this time, you get verification that something is awry.

Been seeing a lot of HSR and Hit Reg issues latley, like PPCs registering on backs from 500m away when they plainly hit the face of a mech as they stood there shooting each other.

Had a Gauss shot destroy my back after i had turned to throw SRM's at a KDK's face on Thursday, this is HSR and it was a good 2 seconds after he shot that my back finally went out and i died. All while slamming my mouse trying to figure out why it was taking so long to fire my SRM's lol. Those 2 seconds of nothing felt like a half minute!

But yea, dunno if it was me or PGI but i and others have been seeing some silly stuff.

And sometimes its just you, or on your end. I often see things and go WTF?!?! then like you said i look over video or realize my ping was 89 instead of 30.

Things do happen, its the nature of the internet really and life but as you said more often then not our brains are just really, really good at convincing us of things.

We all know that hitreg in this game isn't the best. However, in the past few days I've had many "WTF" moments looking at the post-match damage screen, seeing I've done only half the damage I would have predicted. Looking at the post-match video, I've also seen a few instances of putting full beam lasers into stationary targets, but having them not register. Has anyone else experienced worse hitreg than usual in the past few days? (If not, the problem is more likely to be packet loss due to my personal internet connection.)

Yeah. Had a lot of lag and rubber-banding going on as well for the past few days. It has gotten me killed or cost me a kill on a number of occasions in the last few days.

Which is why I boat lurms. MUAHAHAHAHA!

OK, there are other reasons for it, but lurms tend to do some damage even during borked hit-reg.

God awful today. But that is MWO, Some days/hours/minutes it's OK then it tanks. Imo part of the reason why our population dropped lower than pre steam release.

I only notice it when I use SRMs and clan medium lasers. Lots of the damage just disappears.

The worse hitreg seems to get the more reliant on gauss rifles I get to do consistent damage.

Only one complaint for hitreg in the last month. A friendly ACH ate 2 of my PPCs despite me aiming a good 20m over his head, at a range of 300m in my Warhawk. Other than that, it's been fine.

Yes..? But to be honest I think mine has to do more with the whether messing up my connection and causing lag

I posted this in another thread, i have no idea if it really helps or not, but try setting your PC to use the high precision timer ONLY via this utility : http://www.bytemedev.../harmonic-help/

You may need to enable it in the BIOS as well. If the utility shows that you have everything in green, you are using the high precision timer.

I haven't noticed any weird hitreg issues since i did that, and i used to get them very frequently.

If it doesnt work for you, just disable it.

Yeah, I imagine it would.

+50% Velocity, -30% heat generation, +10% faster reload and 10% more range.

Warhawk gets 25% more velocity, -8% PPC heat generation and no faster RoF.

Your PPCs are firing like machineguns, while the WHK can fire maybe 8-9 times and its over heating.

I've only had a couple of cases of really 'eh' hitreg. But they weren't from me; someone else did it against me.

Like an ACH at 150m away, same elevation, managed to hit my rear STs from the front. o.O

As far as projectile hitreg goes, I'm not seeing any difference. It's as good as ever.

Last night was particularly bad for me, I was seeing lots of teleporting/rubberbanding mechs. Maybe as much as a third of my games I played had at least a little. Most of the time it only happened briefly... one game was particularly bad for a significant part of the match.

(My ping/framerate was normal/consistent last night - my ping had all over the place in previous days - when I could even connect to the mwo game).

Seen someone damage the front armor of a Disco, straight from behind. With a medium laser.

After that I went to see a psychiatrist to get checked.
