Anyone Else Having Unusually Bad Hitreg (Ie Worse Than Usual) Over The Last Few Days?

We all know that hitreg in this game isn't the best.

However, in the past few days I've had many "WTF" moments looking at the post-match damage screen, seeing I've done only half the damage I would have predicted.

Looking at the post-match video, I've also seen a few instances of putting full beam lasers into stationary targets, but having them not register.

Has anyone else experienced worse hitreg than usual in the past few days?

(If not, the problem is more likely to be packet loss due to my personal internet connection.)

nope.

I have completely wasted shots due to mechs suddenly teleporting 30m. But nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been experiencing more lag spikes recently, teleporting and warping, as jjm1 described. While not really bad, it has been noticeable to the point where I've reset my internet a couple of times to be sure it wasn't on my end.

If it's on the EU servers that might explain why. Been having some ping issues on EU servers.
And i've also noticed alot when ppl use JJs they get "stuck" in the air then immedietly pops down to the ground, making it very hard to actually hit them. Again i suspect it's ping/lagg issues that causes that behavior.

I've had a few matches where my ERPPCs simply were not hitting. A few times I saw my reticle light up more than a second after the actual hit (HSR at work?), but other times nothing. And yes, I get lag spikes a lot these days.

all i see is the terrible thinking of bloody noobs to keep running away from LRM mechs instead of goign towards them even if they are alone.

tier 1 noobs even more.

Well, after my game last night, I cant say I was having hit reg problems. Using CERPPC on my WHK P, got 780 damage, 3 kills and by far and going away, the highest match score on my team, like 475 or something.

THat was a fun little match. Got to PVP like I always PVP. Find the enemy, probe their general skill a little, then pull back, flank around and pick off stragglers or anyone I can find. Tangled with a CNT, MAD and finished off a TBR. Was a fun little battle. I guess it got me so nervous and crap I was shaking so much I couldnt shoot haha. I went on to try and tangle with a KDK LRM boat, but yeah, I couldnt shoot at that point, plus my armor was stripped in 3 spots....

I <3 my Warhawk Prime. Thing has been serving me well.

Sadly, after the patch I'm seeing rubberbanding and weird final dmg too.

Maybe pgi changed something. When I aim for specific part, such as arm, or torso, my dmg is not always registered.

I have always the same connection and ping, so I think the server has issues.

I've also had a massive increase in being kicked back into the login screen with the whole "connection to server loss" nonsense.
(There are no problems with my internet connection, i've checked).

I know a couple days ago I had a terrible match in my Jenner IIC. (Due to a dang Cheetah singling me out in the middle of my team and only hitting CT) I got multiple volleys of 6 erml on it and one FULL burn on a Centurion at close range. End of match damage was 42.. meaning not a point of damage registered on that cheetah. Or only 2 lasers ever registered at a time. Either way, a cheetah with barely a scratch after only shooting at his upper legs and a centurion with a red armor ct.

And I've also experienced the rubber banding. And the teleporting. And an instance of 10 seconds of people running in place. Not normal for my gameplay experience.

yes, the last few days )since the patch) have been truly awful.. especially for cerppc and srm hit reg

Had a total disco fest yesterday and a corp buddy was going on about how his pulse lasers suddenly felt weaker than before. There's something fishy going on with the servers.

Unfortunately, posting here about it will not make any difference. It seems the only way PGI becomes aware of any problems is to send Russ a direct tweet... and I don't think he reads his twitter on weekends....

Last night it was inconsistent. Some matches were relatively smooth with what fely like good hit reg. Other matches were lag spikes with obvious teleporting and poor reg. Worst offender was a shadow cat I put a full alpha into only for him to teleport 200 meters away. I haven't seen something that bad since Closed Beta.

Hitreg seems to be wonky again. Yesterday I aimed at a shadow cat which faced me. It was untouched. I put 2 ERPPCs square in its CT...and both hits were registered in its back and it dropped dead

just put 8 cerppcs straight through a maddog at 100m, none of them registering at all

of course my team spent the entire drop before that parking right behind me so I couldn't get out of the line of fire ..then, when I'm brawling that maddog, none would come over to help at all...
