these will all go in chainfire, the problem ive found is that i cant fit artemisIV so the spread will be big tho idk if thats gonna be a problem tho.
any ideas on changes/tweaks to make it better? id really like to have artemis+AMS on it tho but one cant have everything =)

My problem with the SRM6s is they just seem to cycle too slow especially if I am firing a 3 and 3 pattern or even an alpha. The greater speed of the 4s is just more satisfying and I do well in it.

Always JJ. Always Artemis. Never chainfire.
Start by adding ES. You have way too many heatsinks too.
Try this for 4s: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...bb6276a4d6a3e6. Can also do A6s with an XL300.

^ this.
(also, never 25 armor in the legs)
NB: Terciel's link is broken, here's the one.
I'm personally a big fan of the C4 for a splatcat: with only 4 launchers it doesn't suffer from ghost heat, it has laser backup in case of ear destruction, it even can zombie if you compromize a little on the engine/jets.

Thx. That's what I get for Smurfying on phone. You got the build freakily identical... For my money, if you're not going to alpha, run 6s. One of the advantages of the 4s is that you can alpha them surprisingly often.
This is the ASRM6 build I like, XL295, I remembered wrong.

this was the last change on it, had a match where i dished out over 500+ dmg in a battle that lasted like 30 sec
another match now where i did 900+ dmg
i like this mech, just need to plan the route to get close and then fire away

Artemis really is worth it. It'll make that damage far more effective. More components, more kills.

You don't need 1000 missiles. But you NEED jumpjets. And Artemis, pretty much.

I run an XL295 (cuz I had one), 6 Asrm4s, AMS, full armor (or close enough) and JJ. I like AMS on short range builds since on more than a few maps you WILL be exposed at some point trying to close and the AMS can be big help in staying intact until you can get to cover. Different strokes for different folks and all that.
