Check Steam out, they released performance packs 2 today. Just search for Mechwarrior, they are not listed under the DLC link yet.

Will there be 40% Off again ?

The EBJ looks nice, too bad the packs are a bit pricey, maybe when they do another 40% off.

Yeah, it really depends on what you got already. The heavy pack would be interesting, if I did't have the (I) Jaguar.

Are there anyone buying these expensive AF packs with a straight mind?


I mean... Mist Lynx? Panther? with the same price as some top quality games?
Zeus and Warhawk for 67 CAD? 67?...


To give you an example... you can buy GTA V right now for 35 CAD, the same price as the mist lynx pack!!!!!

They replaced the Cheetah with a Mist Lynx for new players and tacked on a Panther while they were at it.

We should probably go and write a large amount of bad reviews on some of the newer packs telling people to go buy packs from the main site rather than steam if they want mechs that aren't terrible.

EDIT: oh, that's right, you need to buy it before you can review it even if its DLC. Poor new players.

Those are legitimately terrible. I was going to get the light pack if there was as intro sale and it included a SDR-5K, but none of these are remotely tempting.

The problem is the sheer quantity of extra stuff included and how badly priced some of it is. Cbills, patterns, colors, and premium time are all fairly pricey on their own and you get all of them thrown in.

Naturally, PGI makes a big deal about coming to Steam, and then promptly forgets they ever did that, all the hypes, and release a token performance pack of mediocre™ mechs.

55€ for the 2 Assaults and some goodies. And one of those assaults sucks. The poor souls that buy this stuff.
