In my time, what they've done more than once is stand in for the community and, in so doing, accept Russ's ideas on behalf of the community. This is even more problematic.
I think you are placing on ngng the onous that really is on Pgi. Phil and daeron are really mediators and contractors. Their main job is to make the interactions happen. They've done that successfully in the sense that they created events where everyone showed up. After that it's really up to Russ and Pgi to steer the dynamics. Ngng has to be diplomatic lest things get really awkward for them.
If Russ wanted more interaction as opposed to him bolivating, he could have driven that.
So, my view on this is ngng is doing a good job. It's really Pgi and Russ that have to be open to listening to the community.
