I click on store and click on a hero mech to purchase and it just shows "added to cart". I see absolutely no way to view your cart or to actually make the purchase.

UI 2.x at it's finest. I didn't see the cart at first too. You would think the thing that makes money in the client would have been more obvious.

I don't even know why a game like this has an in-engine cart. It's not a super market.

Probably so you only have to make one purchase request, meaning only one 2-3 second wait while the little wheel spins when you buy it. If you are buying multiple things at once, it saves a lot of time.

Tried to purchase a mech for c-bills, system states that it was added to "CART", Just spent the last 30-40 minutes trying to figure out where the "CART" is. The system is not intuitive, there is no area labeled "CART". Finally saw this post where some one posted a screen shot.

Attention PGI a very small, unlabeled, obscure, yellow icon( possibly shaped like a shopping cart) that pops up only sometimes in the upper right hand corner of the screen in the store only after something is added to the cart is NOT helpful in making transactions simple and obvious.

Please add an obvious "check out/ purchase cart' icon with label. Thank you.

Most mechs and things take c-bills. Heroes and cosmetics take mc. Play events and save up mc then wait for 50% off sale to maximize the use of the amount you have. That's the free and easy way to get and use mc.

Easiest way to get c-bills is play the game a lot or over a long period of time using a hero mech that has c-bill bonus. Lights have the cheaper heroes often for around 900-1,200 mc when on sale.

When getting a hero make sure you really like the mech type and hard point types.

Welcome to MWO !

Sorry to hear you've had a rough start in purchasing, hopefully things would be smoother for you once you're familiar with this!
Yes, agree with you that the in-game purchasing UI could be more clear...

It's not very intuitive. You need to click the cart icon to actually purchase. PGI isn't the best in UI/UX.

Well, since the UI has not changed since the original post, I'll leave this open.
Otherwise it is against the Code of Conduct to post in threads which have been inactive for extended periods of time. If you feel the old thread should be discussed, please create a new thread to generate necessary interest.
Thread moved to New Player Help.

It used to be on the bottom left I think.
I do hope PGI gets a UI/UX designer back on the team soon to fix this kind of stuff. There's a lot of room for improvement.
