We are in MWOs forum. After reading them for 4 years, i'm pretty sure people don't need any good reason for doing anything. Over the years, I have seen countless people making things up and bluntly lying for literally no comprehensible reason at all.

Again, i'm not saying he did, and i have no reason to believe he did. Just saying a screenshot would be nice.

Again, not seeing any pay off... and for all you're saying "I'm not saying" & "there are people".... there is just you wanting the screenshot and doubting.... so... why?

I just made a guess on what this thread maybe will turn out. There are always people who ask for screenshots. "Pics or it didn't happen" is a thing on the internet, you know?

Personally, I think the "safety valves" have been wide open for quite some time now. Not "shocked" by this thread at all.

And even if Dayleet or the OP posted a screenshot of the end of game screen, so what? How would that "prove" anything?

This is not exactly a new revelation here folks.

You got one in this very thread before i even made my post.

For the same reason someone posted in FW as a Clanner he lost 20 straight games and thus IS mechs are OP.
Turns out he only played 4 matches total when someone bothered to check the stats ingame.
People do make things up, so i get where this post comes from.

"Quick play" can be both solo and group queue. If it happened in group queue, I'm not surprised. If it happened in solo queue, I'm... a little surprised, but not much.

This is why some of us wanted public post match PSR, revealing how many players in each tier (T1, T2, etc) were on either team. So we can clarify whether we're playing in matches with mostly T1 players, mostly T5 players or anything in between.

Thank you for sharing this fact. No surprise here. Taking advantage of 2XP last night after being away most of the weekend enjoying two shows in the city and eating at Morimoto's restaurant. Had a number of bad games. 7 teammates that couldn't crack 150 match score, then 9, then 7 again. Will be uploading those videos to my channel. Forgot to hit record on the worst one. 7 teammates couldn't crack 100 match score. I think I have a screen shot of that one. Will edit and add it if I do.

Way too many bad loadouts, way too many W.T.eff pilots missing 70% of their PPC shots.

As Tristen said, been asking for tiers at end of match. Now we know why they won't.

Not even going to bother offering suggestions on how to fix. They never listen. Done. Let this game die.

PGI wouldn't allow this.

if you're t1-2 and see you're dropping with t4-5s enough times, it'll only mean one thing: that online player numbers are in the crapper. that's why MM is opening so many release valves.

PGI is not going to give players the data to narrow down how few players are actually playing at any given time.

Based on PGIs explanation of how it works, it should be actually not possible for T4/5 to see T1 in a solo queue quick play game.. the MM is not supposed to open up enough, ever, to allow that and based on my experiences it doesnt, but i cant be entirely sure, obviously.

Id like to see the screenshot, personally. And so would PGI, maybe.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Several months ago I encountered players on my team who were known T4's when I am max T1. Why people find this so hard to believe is beyond me.

Because PGI have explicitly said that it should be impossible, and i dont see why they would lie - hence id like to see proof so it can be submitted to PGI to get them to investigate?

*I* have never seen anyone i knew to be T4/T5 in a solo queue game (not saying its never happened though, because i have no way to know for sure), and i DO know for a fact that matchmaking at T5 is entirely different from matchmaking at T1 because, yes, i made a smurf for a bit, before i got bored of it - but i know very definitely that you get completely different matches, so the MM works at least to some extent.

Well without this thread, I wouldn't have believed claims that T5's and T2's get put together, it's not supposed to happen, just like T4's are not supposed to be matched against T1's

Proof MM is actually broken.

This is not the first thread about this, and one of the previous ones did include a screen shot. So it does happen despite PGI's claim that It can't. How often does it happen though? And even if the answer was "often" does anyone really care?
