1. CACs are not supposed to be in game and they seem to be completely abandoned by PGI, while SHS is part of BT, and PGI tried in the past to improve it. PGI actually cares about the state of SHS compared to DHS.

2. And unlike SHS, the CACs are actually not complete joke by itself.

SHS don't need to be useable. DHS refit price and the higher base cost of Clan Mechs are just a way to drain money from players. It doesn't matter, please stop requesting useless buffs nobody needs. If TT grognard, stop living in the past and move on.

Maybe they don't need to be, but that's not a compelling argument against at least the attempt to create a niche for SHS and thus further increase the depth of gameplay.

Seeing how long it takes for PGI to get anything done at all (besides mechpacks), I really wouldn't bog them down with unneccesary stuff like this. And don't forget that a lot of their already sparse resources are going towards MW5 now.

I see your point, but at the same time have you ever noticed that PGI has an inordinately large amount of resources and time to invest in unwanted or minor features? For example. Pilot Model update. Sure, it's nice but not many asked for that and PGI hasn't done anything new with it since and yet, we're still waiting on inverse kinetics.

Yeah, looks like their coding department is the most understaffed. 3D and Texture Artists are doing better, as evident by the constant flow of new mechs, which are mostly of good quality nowadays. IK delay and missing implementation of ammo switching for LB-X ACs (and possibly other weapons) are just ridiculous.

I believe SHS rate of heat dissipation is slower than DHS at equivalent heat dissipation levels. If they were the same, I would be fine, since I only use SHS in my 'Mechs.
