I've made this suggestion before, long long ago, but it seems worth repeating. The mini-map should become transparent when your arm reticule passes through it so it no longer blocks the sight lines for mechs aiming at extreme downward angles. Some mechs are built with high visibility cockpits and the opaque mini map negates some of the advantage the actual physical structure of said mechs are supposed to provide.

Yeah it's a minor gripe, and very situational, but I've long pushed for the physical characteristics of a chassis to have greater impact on game play beyond hitboxes and hard point locations.

You're asking for Lostech. It may still stay that way soon™.

Why not just let us move objects in the HUD where ever we want them? I'd say they could put them on the individual mech monitors but i guess that'd be a lot of extra work when we could just move the hud around as it pleases us.

Standing on Alpine, trying to shoot down at people below the mountain. Firing blindly through my minimap and trying to see if my cursor turns red to indicate a hit.

The struggle is real.

A customizable HUD is the sort of thing a dev who cared for and understood their own game would implement. When we get that let me know...
