Added the poll results to the OP, very interesting.

Alright, I have the data I need and I will get to work this weekend (won't lie I have already started). I will not give any updates this weekend since everyone's attention will be on Mech Con, but I plan on having the full, completed challenge up early next week.

A bit of forewarning:

The biggest difference between this challenge and the What Mech Challenge is that this challenge will be less about the grind, more like the grind will be the means to the end where the actual challenge(s) begin.

Yes, this challenge will be heavy on Lore and some roleplay, so if this turns you off, then it is not for you. Also, if you do not enjoy reading through a somewhat-lengthy backstory, then this challenge will not be for you either.

One would hope. I don't hate the Phoenix Hawk, I'm just not enough of an ***hole to subject the rest of the player base to my attempts at piloting lights/fast mediums, so I'll have to opt out if that's a requirement.

Allow me to clarify my position on Lore so as not to disappoint anyone. This Challenge will be my creation, but the back story will fit within BATTLETECH canon.

Well, I am eager to get back to work on this project. I have many ideas and have all the details for the first challenge (Trial) that will be part of this project (I am calling this a project since it has become more than just a challenge). I will tease a bit more about the structure of the project, it will go something like this:

Hmmm...at this point, I think i am more curious about this challenge than I am the "big announcement" at mech con.
