I was not able to watch the streams and I'm just trying to piece together everything that took place. So far just seems like a bunch of air..

Yes I see that. I'm just surprised with the Hype they tried to put behind the con that no actual content was delivered at the event. Missed opportunity?

Did anyone get to play it?
Does that matter? We'll all get to play it in 10 days, barring some kind of delay.
People got to try out that Solaris map at the convention, and that's coming out this month too.

Either trolling or wearing blinders. Either way yes there was content at the event and yes it's absolutely normal for most stuff at events like this to be released DOWN THE ROAD.

Well we now know PGI is perfectly happy to step outside of lore and start designing their own fantasy mechs for the game.
We also know that there is a new skill system going to be coming that is likely to make the Grind in Everquest or WOT feel like a stroll in the park and probably is going to completely destroy most of our favorite mechs and builds.
We now know why there has been almost no new content added to the game because all the funds earned by mech pack sales and all the developers who could have been adding content to MWO were instead being used for MW5.
All in all I would say there is a ton of "New" things that came out of Mechcon.

Because there has never been a Agri och industrial mech converted to a combat unit before in the history of BT. =P
Oh wait.
