We have no idea whether PGI will be enabling a Cooperative mode in this game. To make definitive statements that PGI doesn't need added or PGI does need to add it or it will be in or it won't be in is just silly talk at this early point in time.

Ummm. I would think it obvious? MWO is the multiplayer Mechwarrior product while MW5:Merc is the single player PVE campaign set in 3015.

However, it looks like MW5 is based on the Unreal engine so depending on how things go we might see MWO moved to the same engine depending on what is involved. The Shadowhawk in the trailer appeared to use the same geometry as MWO so it is possible that transfer of assets between engines can be streamlined which might make a new engine drop for MWO much more feasible (though that would depend on the built in support in the Unreal engine for server authoritative design and efficient netcode to support server authoritative design with large numbers of players).

P.S. If the single player PVE is done well, you can add me to the list of folks who will buy it.

Do you need a hug?

I can be the "bigger person" and see that no rational or sane person would go frothing at the mouth, insult spewing, nerd rage, and claim passive aggressive attack of thought with ignorance, I mean, you just go "full on" your first time out.

I ask again, do you need a hug?

You may be able to tolerate stupidity and ignorance that thrives amongst the masses, but I certainly can't. Probably why you have so many posts here lol.

Lol. As sad as society is these days, it seems to make me laugh just as equally. Again, have a good day. I'd appreciate it if you stopped trying to antagonize the unnecessary.

At this point, what you could 'appreciate', can take a flying **** at a rolling donut. This is a situation of your own devising. My point still stands, you came here w/ a pre-conceived notion about positive responses to your post, didn't get what you want and started slinging insults and petulance. Hell, you even got logical, thought out responses to your OP as well. You began the antagonizing. How does that saying go...? "You reap what you sow". Yeah, I think that's it.

Co op might happen, probably not at first. I doubt there is going to be multiplayer PVP in MW5 until such point as MW5 itself is long in the tooth.

I think unleashthepwniez is correct actually. Mwo on its current engine will be hopelessly outdated by the release of mw5, and the logical transition is to use mw5 in some way to relaunch it on the unreal engine, either as an expansion to mw5 or a standalone sister to it.

That still involves keeping mwo on current engine going for 3 years, which is already very long, so there is really no business conflict in preparing to migrate multiplayer to mw5 or a standalone based on it.

Is... is that all you're going to say from now on..? Because the whole 'Fez' thing from That 70's Show, is pretty played out. I mean, I get it, you're 12, you don't have much else to go on, but whatever point you hoped to make in the beginning is moot. It has been drowned out by your tantrum and any credibility the OP had, has long since eroded away to nothing.

My head is beginning to hurt from your inane responses, I think I'll see myself out.

LOL! Are you referring to MP being better than the SP? If so, I entirely see what you're saying.
