Hi,

Welcome to my collection of miniature LEGO 'Mech models!
After seeing some Lego 'Mech creations on the forums I thought I'd share my own creations with you.

My friends and I actually use(d) Lego 'Mechs for playing BattleTech, which works really well, as you can literally take off arms and legs and leave them scattered across the battlefield!
(and pick 'em up again to club your opponents to death!)
But what started out with some very generic models got a bit out of hand, and I started modeling them after the MWO models.

Now, I've seen some nice, detailed bigger Lego 'mechs around on the forums and internet, but I found the real challenge is to keep everything tiny, yet somehow still capture the chassis' trademark features. The idea was to scale the 'Mechs proportionally with tonnage and keep 'em all small enough to fit on the hex board (so a few cm wide max.).

So here we go, a collection of very tiny 'Mechs, approximately to scale, modelled after some of my favourite MWO models. Hope you guys like em!

Adder:
Two variations, tried some things for the legs. Getting that typical shell-shape into something this small was damn tricky, but that radar-panel-thingy does the trick nicely!

Atlas:
True brawler here, with SRM launcher (yes, those thingy's are my standard missile pods Posted Image in the left torso, a big AC in the right, some laser arms (that are a bit too skinny). The skull is there at least!

Posted Image

Cicada:
Little bit boxier, and taller than Adder, as it should be..

Really love the SCR model, with that vulture-like hump behind the cockpit.

Jagermaester:
Bit too square, this one never felt finished, but hey, it's got the antenna!

Posted Image

Warhawk:
Wanted to make a Direwhale. Ended up like this. Whatever. It's a big ugly 100 ton Clanner.

Highlander:
Big gun on the right, lots of missiles on the left (arm + ST), must be a Highlander...

Centurion:
Shield arm, 2 CT lasers, SRM in LT, and a big AC in the RA. The most basic of 'mechs, but a great one!

King Crab:
Loved making this one, but what a struggle to make tiny claws that work! Turned out as one of my favourites!

Spider:
That's right, a friggin' jetpack strapped to the back. Makes it a spider. Promise I'll do some prettier lights next Posted Image

Jenner & Locust:
Not that big of a difference between them, other than the size, but they both turned out quite nice I think!

Mad Dog & Catapult:
The cat is simple and chunky, yet somehow satisfyingly 'catapult-esque'. But, I prefer the MDD, with those chicken legs (love those!) and I liked the weird way in which I could use some blocks.

Timberwolf:
The MadCat, one of the most iconic 'mechs... so I made this one twice! For a grand total of 150 tons (or grams, more likely in this case)! I really like how these turned out, I mean, look at 'em, they're actually MadCats! Two of my favourite builds (along with KGC and SCR)

(I cheated a bit, as these are slightly too big when compared to the assaults..Oh well.)

Urbanmech:
Last one I have... for now. And what better way to wrap-up than with the almighty Urby!
360 degrees of abominable awesomeness, and if you look closely in the last pic, there's actually a prototype of the Deputy Dawg upcoming Hero Urby!! (Yeah, I love urbanmechs Posted Image)

BUT WAIT! WHERE'S THE AC20?!?!
Well, here's is the stock-loadout I guess... a trashcan with a BIG GUN!

These look really good for the scale they are built to.

Fantastic! Very well done. You can definitely ID each of them, even at such a small scale!

Would it be possible for you to post some W.I.P. shots, or build guides?

I've a mountain of Lego here and it would be awesome if I could have a lance or two of mini-mechs sitting on my desk!

Thanks for all the likes and replies! good to see the Lego fans' appreciation Posted Image

Well, to be honest most of em are so small there's not a lot of 'guide' to them Posted Image
I just scavenged all the smallest bits I could find, piled em up and just start fiddling! Most times I didn't even know what 'mech I was making until halfway through.

However, I was actually about to scrap most of these for the parts (small parts are limited!) to start on some new ones, so guess I could make a few reverse-W.I.P. pics of some nice details..

And to all 'Mech/LEGO-enthusiasts; please feel free to add your own here!

P.S. Next on my wanted-list: Marauder and Warhammer! ..but I guess I'm open for suggestions too Posted Image

Great work! You really captured the characteristics of each mech in such a small scale. Keep it up.
