Three questions.

1. When was the last time you've seen a Gold Mech in battle that is not one of your friends, yourself or someone in your unit?

2. If you own a Gold Mech, how often do you bring it to battle?

3. If you answered "No/Not at all" in question 2, Why?
If you don't own a Gold Mech, why do you think people that has Gold Mechs don't bring theirs to battle?

I see one or two per week, easily. Usually DWF and WHK, but sometimes a Timber or 'crow. Saw a KFX last week or so.


I imagine playing the same mech over and over gets boring. Kind of would have made sense if PGI gave you all 8 goldies for the 500$ chunk of change...

I saw a gold fatwolf about three months ago.

No friendly unit legged him, although they did joke around about who was going to do it.

He died after doing less than 100 points of damage in his 100 tonner.

Hardly use it, because PGI decided to give the NVA prime inferior CT quirks, so i am piloting my NVA B. But I haven't palyed since the last quirk changs so i haven't adjusted mechs now, dunno which one is better, maybe a full prime now is the better choice.

I can still adore it's shinyness in the mechlab.

also, why are they gone, wanted to have a gold adder too.

Why do you only list 6 of the gold mechs?

I recently saw a gold Summoner, and I was kinda jealous of the guy. I want a gold Summoner/Timberwolf now.

I saw a golden Cute Fox running the Purifier torso omni-pods for the 8 ER medium laser build the other day. They did a lot of damage before some ***hole in a Timber Wolf teamkilled them and typed "gold mech noob"

I think the best part is that T-Wolf only did 174 damage and the Cute Fox did a whopping 740ish

I do not own gold mechs because I'm poor and there are much better things I can do with $500, like buy Christmas gifts for the family.

Why do you only list 6 of the gold mechs?

You can email them through their accounts contact and request to buy one I believe, but they were taken down from the store.

1. Last month I seen someone riding a gold Adder.

2. Don't have em.

3. They are just cosmetic that only put on 1 mech. They are better variant or chassis than Gold Mechs.

some time If I met someone use Gold Mech I often say nice gold camo there, since I think it's shiny and cool for me.

I'd really love to own a gold mech. I haven't seen one in ages, I keep forgetting they even exist !

1. $500 for ONE gold mech?! that was outragous to me. I agree with Tarogato.
2. No sales on them?
3. They've not extended them to any other mech design?
4. Please please please allow this colour to be unlocked. I've been trying to find a next best but I can't. Any ideas folks? (Some mechs come with flashy skins e.g. Bounty Hunter but they don't shine with lots of colours.

actually the goldmech is 260$ because you also get the entire wave 1 which is 240.
but I agree the color looks great, should make them a premium paint for like 30$

It's about as interesting as running into an LRM kit fox, really. You raise your brow in surprise and then proceed to kill it. Unless it's on your team. Then maybe you kill it depending on your mood and what type of player you are.

Are you guys talking about true gold mechs? Or custom paint job pseudo fake gold mechs with Clan pattern to make them glitter??? (Cause I have one that did that... though not perfect because I'm too cheap to use MC to buy better brown and yellow)

Cause that's two COMPLETELY different things. In 11 months of play, I have not seen one in action. I can't imagine too many people bought them either. For it's same sales price, you can get this:

I have a gold dire wolf as my main it says CAKE on the front, and I have a gold timberwolf.
