cnat awnser that question as justy yes and no, so im putting it on here. i think theres too many variants, not enough chassis. mw4 they didnt really do variants, and i was cool with that. even with mekteks no varients, the amount of mechs realeased for that game was astounding.
like..... i want a bloodasp, but i dont want 5 of them. just one and im good. same with the sunder. i never REALLY understood the need for multiple variants. just one is fine, im just gonna rip out all its component parts and replace em with something better anyways.
i forget were i said it, but i once said on the forums itd be cool if they did 6 mechs, no hero or reinforcements, and it was 3 varents per chassis, 2 chassis in each mekpak. and 2 standerp packs a month, that can be comboed to get the whole 70 special thing.
that method would give us more important varients, cause its just 3 per mech, so each one has a little more individuality as opposed to the original system, and then we get to of our new shiney mechs at once.
and total mechs need to be made remains at 6 for the mech making team, so it shouldnt overload them with an insane amount of work that needs to be done in 1 month.
