I think it will, now that we don't have Energy Draw. (I'm really looking forward to several builds on this mech).

Assault mech with Clan tech. Good variants and probably screwed up hitboxes like the normal Marauder...what's not to like :D?! Now we just need the IS Marauder II to really screw up people's target recognition in game :)

Me too. It was the first mech I played ever, in the MW2 demo (I must have played dozen of hours of that demo), back in 1995, before i bought the complete game.

The left toros PPC appears dead centre and well above cockpit, great!

The D variant almost seems suitable right out the box for MWO. Four whole tons of gauss ammo, Mk 7 computer. ECM, twin gauss and LPL, ERSL and twin Streak-4s. I suspect a great many of us owners of the thing will be swapping the LPL and streaks for a pair of ERLL and more gauss ammo. Or perhaps an ERPPC/ERLL combo. That Mk7 computer means 10% beam range and 35% projectile speed.

Hope they make Gauss Cannons use the same barrel just like in the Lore.

Is the artwork backwards or did the clan switch the ballistic from the right torso to the left? I'm not big on the lore, just wondering where the ballistic is going to be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pretty much any build on this mech, alpha or otherwise would have been neutered by Energy Draw. Your argument is invalid (as is tradition).

You may be shocked to discover that I make use of 4 weapon groups on pretty much every laser vomit build that I have. And any build involving lasers and ACs or PPCs and ACs also make use of different weapon groups. Could you be any more clueless? Let's not forget that Energy Draw actually made the game less balanced than it is now.
