PGI WHAT DID YOU DO??????

Ahem, sorry, didn't realize that the Marauder iic modules will be worthless after the patch goes into effect with the new skill tree system and modules and that jazz.

Will we be getting more cbills in the early adopters pack? I feel really scammed out of my money for this! I love, and will love this mech and those modules I was never going to use, and sell probably to get that extra cbill bonus for customizing my newly bought 4 marauder iic's.

BUT NOPE! Instead, I have to hope what I get is what I want, I don't like to gamble...
I like to know what I buy!

I feel a bit scammed and so should you, will we be getting the normal 6.5mil cbills instead or will something else be given? Please somebody help!

According to Russ, you're getting a full refund on all modules.

Oh, for ***** sake. You didn't buy the mech pack for the modules. You would have bought it even if the modules weren't there.

And you'll be getting the C-Bill values for the modules when they get deleted, just like every other module.

Christ.

You can (well, 2.5, had values wrong). Or wait for the skill tree and get 5MM. Pick.

Erppc range mod and advanced zoom, that's total of 5m. Even if you weren't gonna use them and sell them, it's only worth bout 2m sale value (allows you to buy 1 stock umr). You get the full 5m when skill tree comes out which is better

Hold on. Extended Range PPC range mod? Like, it comes with a mod to extend the range of the longest ranged weapon in the game?

Why did I buy this packs? :P

I cringe every time I see a thread title with "Iic" instead of "IIC." I cringe a lot.

The 'Mech is a "two see," not an "eye eye see."

rofl

Honestly, has there been a single mention of modules being removed without also mentioning that players will get a full reimbursement in the next sentence or at least the same page. Or at the very least, easily find-able in the news from PGI, or the tens of threads already about exactly this.

People must isolate one piece of information, purge everything else from memory, and then run yelling and screaming to the forum.

They aren't being removed this patch. Skill tree is still at least a couple of months off. We'll get to use the modules in the meantime.

hope pgi remembers to also throw in an XP value for every module as well, since it will require both XP and c-bills to unlock the equivalent skill on a mech.

Moreover, not sure how PGI can account for the fact that you only need to unlock the skill for each module once now for all mechs, and one module will cover every mech you own. But under the new system, you will have to level/buy the skill for each mech. That's a LOT more expensive than the current system.

Well I hadn't thought about that since you've mentioned it, but yeah, you're absolutely right. As I recall now (and it's been a long time since I had to unlock the ability to purchase a 'mech module) it required a not insignificant amount of GXP.

Are they eliminating GXP altogether, or not? Trying to remember what I read, I honestly can't say either way, if not, then we need to be reimbursed the GXP. If they are eliminating GXP, it doesn't matter anyway.

Hmmm... I'll have to think about this.

GXP is being refunded, it was in the Mechcon stream and is all over the place.

Thanks, couldn't recall that fact clearly or not. But... That's what happens when you drink when you watch those things and read those other things.

Thanks!

So can this be closed? Just asking, because there are a lot of similar threads :)

For the modules and GXP, as far as I got it:
The C-Bills will be fully refunded, so you get more for keeping them than for selling them now :)
The GXP and XP spent and perhaps those on mechs (?) will be somehow made to Legacy XP, which can be used to level mechs too. What the ratio is and if you need C-Bill to use the Legacy XP too... no idea. But perhaps we can use Legacy XP without the use of C-Bills... we will see :)
