Tier 1 Matches Where No Player Knows What The Domination Circle Is For?

Because why should *I* go into the circle when nobody else on my team does. That is the typical self-centered mentality that dominates PUGs.
Now, in terms of being a T1 or a T5 or whatever game ... tiers are meaningless. T1 nowadays is 95% potatoes that belong in T3 and downwards, i.e. your T1 game could have actually been a full potatoe T5 for all you know.
We used to have a MM that was based on W/L, not anymore. Yes it was bad, but with PGI everything they "improve" makes matters even worse. So, enjoy your potatoe T1s some more.

Can't wait for the first video where a teammate says "I don't care about that guy in the Atlas. Maybe he should 'git good' or stop playing the game!"
Derp..derp...derp.
Derp is right.
Not sure if funny or just plain sad when a "team" that picks Domination and ends up at 70-80% picking it, they can't play Domination mode nor can they play Skirmish while in a Domination drop.
The ONLY voting I do is against Domination. HATE the mode. Visceral HATE.

Is this really a "REAL" problem?
Unfortunately Big D, yes it is sadly.

Its very simple the easiest and least risky way to win domination is to stand in the circle. Why do you think using a strategy that relies on the other team exposing themselves to be shot at is more viable than moving into the circle and being in cover.
I disagree some what.
My view is that there's more than one way to win
The method I choose depends on the battlefield conditions.
Therefore I don't rely on a one trick strategy, I view conditions and make decisions base on those conditions, and well as instincts.
You may think that I never go inside the circle
This is not the case, I circle when advantageous to the team
I won't circle if their are better options
For example stop the clock, kill all mechs, get back in the circle.
To stop the clock options are:
1) Be in the circle or/and
2) Shoot mechs in the circle and/or
3) Target mech in the circle (Pretty sure but no 100% and too slack to check)
Option 2 and 3 don't require you to be in the circle and stop you from losing due to cap count, whilst kill the other teams mechs
I'm not the greatest player but I win more than I lose.

My issue is when people mindlessly YOLO the circle when other options exist.
That is all

Also the amount of games ive died in the circle while everyone else sits outside it..... it think its just selfish gameplay and tunnel vision, people want good scores and when they see the enemy they seem to forget the objectives.
short of crippling the game mode, by making it that if you kill the enemy before you finish capping then you lose, i cant see it changing (also how can i be the second mech in the circle when im piloting a CTF-4X, its still doesnt have spd twk so it only hits 59, still beat everyone but a light to the circle, Grim Portico everyone else sat in the city until we lost).

Your right
But what I also think is selfish is
the amount of games I 've watch people suicide in the circle when there are other options are available for REASONS, giving the enemy team the kill advantage, perpetuating the rise of the snowball man effect and helping the team lose
..... it think its just selfish gameplay and tunnel vision

At the beginning of a game fast mechs rush the circle to drop the clock as much as they can before they are sighted
.... after which one side kills the other
and you win by cap because the other team is dead or driven away.
If you continue to to stay in the circle once sighted, the chances are good you will get fired on, quite possibly till destruction......
because thats the part where one team kills the other and being in the circle holds no advantage at that time.
(Assuming the one team kills the other hasn't moved way far from the circle were a sneaky cap works wonders)
Once the enemy team has been Dominated, aka killed or driven out of the area. (hence the game mode)
The circle is yours

this is real. i had a frigging potato teammate alpha me again and again because i was in my mad dog and facing off another mad dog.
it got so ridiculous that after he took off my side torso and was proceeding to core my back, i basically squashed my mic against my mouth and SHOUTED at him.
think i ruptured his ear drums or maybe he died of shame or something because he stopped whatever he was doing and just stood there for the rest of the match, leaving me in peace.

Nah this is a problem among all Tiers. No one wants to die in the first minute of trying to hold the circle, especially top Tier players who need dem stats for brownie points.
IMO, this game mode should have respawn turned on.

They all drew up short and stopped -- i tried to talk them into the circle but they wouldn't budge so, in frustration (aka; "I said fark it"), I left the circle and watched the timer drop to zero as none of my team moved.
