I did preorder it and I'm excited about it and it looks quite nice / maybe might look awesome.
But the screenshots I've seen so far look a little like a mule (or is it "burro"?) or something.

The oversized pods at the back ruin it a little. And the sidemounted top gun looks like it stands out from the cargo rather then belonging to the chassis.

The IS MAD has the same issue. Too much rear overhang and too bulky back there. That said, I think it works better on the IIC.

The real drawback is that I will be expecting rocket boosters but will find none.

Its certainly pretty but the entire MechCon thing shifted me from the Jaded/burnt out setting to apathy. Aside from that I wonder about that bulbous nose and the huge *** that will be hard to hide.

Also, those 3 cerPPC's make me think I'll be it will be shutting down an awful lot.

It's a taller marauder.

3 cERPPC and 4 cERSL is actually less heat than the 4 PPC warhawk, isn't it? As long as you are not alphaing, you'll be fine.

...and 2 cMPL. It's a battlmech though, so outside of stock mode (which it'll be fun in) we'll have heavy customization of exactly how many DHLs we want to run. With a 375 or 400 engine some builds will break 30 DHLs.

Yep.

PSA: 375 is the optimal engine size for XLs at 85 tones. I'll be running 400 though. XD

Looks amazing... but with the motor in the back of the Honda, it does sort of resemble a turkey. An 85-ton killer turkey....

Honestly it should barely be bigger than the Marauder. By mass it is only 10 tons heavier or 13% larger. If you have ever scaled up an image by 13% the size difference is hardly noticable.

The cockpit looks alien because there is an alien in there.

Its an awesome looking mech. I am not jealous at all because my Marauder will do fine.
