Where is the reward for racing to the circle and beginning the countdown for your team?

Where is the reward for being the only one on your team preventing the enemy from counting it down to zero?

Where is the reward for being outside the circle but taking shots on enemies in the circle preventing the timer from counting down?

Where is the reward for going behind enemy lines and blasting those trucks to reset the counter?

Why is the only reward in Domination a generic one that every single person on the winning team gets even if they spent the entire match outside the circle?

What's the point of an objective-based game mode if you're not going reward the players who go out of their way to help their team complete the objective?

Well, the winning bit is the reward, presumably.

Could probably use a C-Bill bonus for, say, every 15 seconds in the circle or something, though.

We were talking about this on stream today. I totally agree. Rewards for fighting from the zone etc need get a big increase.

Just like we need AMS rewards for shooting down missiles aimed at allies. 'grumbles about my full support Cute Fox lore build being painfully underrewarded'

The only real advantage of Dom is that is forces a fight, without the chasing

Unless there's a cheeky ERLL guy, and the PUGgles don't know to stay down

One of the saddest things I've ever seen was a Domination match where the enemy team's entire light lance got blapped instantly because they ran into us, and the rest of their team just stayed put behind a wall in the circle, occasionally poking out to fire at my team. I was in my Adder Prime. I got into a position to shoot them all in the rear. They refused to send anyone to deal with me besides their Dire Wolf that finally got fed up with it all. That was one of my highest damage games to date, all because they believed they "had" to be in the circle.

Playing selfishly and assuming that someone else will sacrifice their matchscore and cbill earnings to hold the circle for the team is unfortunately the optimal way to maximize your rewards in Domination. 99% of the time someone on your team will bite the bullet.

Yeah, they need to look at a plethora of new rewards for all sorts of things in particular in Domination. I can't tell you how many times I have died pretty early on in a Domination match because I am the only one in the circle preventing the cap. Grim Plexus and Alpine are very frustrating because of the location of the circle, and the fear my team always seems to have of peaking out from behind a hill.

I'm thinking a reward/achievement called "I am the one and only!" for surviving 30 seconds alone in the circle that gives out large amounts of xp and c-bills is appropriate.Posted Image

Hiding in the same closet that the rewards for capping in Assault are hidden in.

50,000 C-bills. Considering the amount of time it takes to find a match, wait for everyone to connect, finish the match and disconnect, it's roughly 10,000 C-bills per minute.

The effect of the 2008 financial crisis can still be felt in MWO.
