Annihilator is too slow and you need to ask PGI to break the engine limit rule to make it otherwise.
Axman and Assassin are just for Winter and Bishop, respectively.
I'd like a Hollander but because I just love the idea of a 'Mech built around a gun! ....and because of MechCommander.
There are Gunslinger and other 'Mechs which can do dual Gauss or boat ballistic but, I guess Clan 'Mechs can do it better like always barring quirks.

Or are you just asking what we want? In which case, once again, #DervishOrIRiot #SunderOrIRiot.

There are a few others that I could point to, without new tech so long as the three mech rule is in play the Hammerhands is off the table, but, with the new skill tree PGI could do the Hammerhands with it's I believe 2 in timeline builds without issue. It is basically a 75 ton jump capable ballistic Warhammer.
There are still a good swath of mechs from TRO3025 and 3039 that PGI could do.

I really hope not... talented as Alex may be, he's going to butcher the Champion. I just have zero faith that anyone could make this Goof Tub work with MWO's unified aesthetic. Not without ruining what makes it great, anyway.

At this point players are really just buying new skins. Look at the Dervish- what does it bring that Griffins, Shadowhawks and Kintaros can't? With the new skill tree we can't even hope that it gets unique quirks.
Are there some mechs that would add variety at some tonnage levels? Sure, the 20, 25, and 30 could use more variety. But even then they are not adding to the game as much as filling out player's art collections.

I'd also suggest the Anvil, 60t energy boat, ecm, JJ.

I'd rather have an original design.

Apocalypse
100 Ton
Battlemech
As many LRM 20's, 15's or 10's as can be realistically fit across 3-7 different variants. No LRM 5s. One variant will be all SRM 6's. A minimum of 4 missile hard points, with 6-8 being the average. Variants may have 2-3 Ballistic slots and there's at least one energy boat variant, but it carries small lasers as backup weapons to its LRMs.
What do you all think?

It looks terrible.
Most of the later pre-dark age TROs are pretty bad, many based on player made/submitted designs.

A new light mech that adds new features?
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Stinger_LAM.
STG-A5 only has 3 med lasers. But it can fly and switch modes.

Well, first, I'd appreciate it if you thought your post's out first. This is going to be a long, tiresome process if you keep stating your opinions as facts, and then are forced to backpedal every time.
Second, I don't agree on it's look. And, luckily, attractiveness is subjective. Doubly luckily not every mech has to be super beautiful anyway
Third, I dare you to prove the Anvil, or any other TRO: 3055 mech, was fan drawn.

Even still, I'd love to have the Longbow. With missile boating Hero version. I don't want another Misery.

That, the Cougar, and the Rifleman IIC are about the only ones I'm really interested in. Might buy Bushwackers next year, tho.

Well for the Anvil or an other "ugly" mech we just remember that Alex will work his magic and at bare minimum make it decent looking. #InAlexwetrust

Yeah, basically. I don't think there's a hundred ton dedicated missile boat in TT, is there?
The Bane does have a variant with 9 missile HP's but its clan.....
