This thread is basically Johnny Z attempting to stroke his Epeen by pointing out he's near the top of the leaderboard....except he's looking at the wrong column

Actually using a hero mech is a really good idea, just sharing it. I didn't realize the 30% would stack up so quick till now. So I'm glad I got the PXH-R on sale and THEN decided to make a leader board run.

Made the topic for totally legit reasons to.

That spreadsheet is pretty damn cool. Now i get to see how i matched up against the field and for the most part i compare favorably.

Its interesting how after Season 2 there's a massive drop off in stats required to be in the top 5%. Im betting cuz folks were making alts, cuz i know i was doing the same.

I hardly have any games this season, with most being in brand new Shadowhawks I have no idea how to play well.

My Light score, tho...Mist Lynx stronk.

By the way of course every match for the leader board I played in regular queue. I miss when group wasn't counted for events.

I wasn't going to go there but well you brought it up.

... bear claw kills it in game, and he's in the PUG queue a lot, not farming the group queue as far as I know.

I always forget there is a leaderboard until I see it mentioned in a thread. then again as a one or two day weekend warrior I don't expect much out of them anyway.

The leader boards were proven to be a fraud a long time ago. Once you have a group of mouth breathers making it their metric the collusion and cheating come in to move up the lame.
The day I rub my ego with a video game placement is the day I understand I have become a part of the zombie hoard. Then I would just do the right thing and kill myself for the sake of humanity at large.

The point of a "game" is to have fun. Champions are born on the real battlefield where your skin is in the game. Anything else is just like TV. Not real and of no consequence.

I'm not sure you know what we're talking about here. I doubt there's any "mouth breathers" colluding amongst themselves here for a monthly leaderboard that doesn't pay out anything.

Considering the leaderboard just showed up one day without any explanation, I'd say it's not important.

Rather, I think someone just left the leaderboard outside the door to PGI's offices, someone found it, and just tossed it in.

Maybe they'll accept this as new content!?

It includes sub-30 battle players for the 'matches played' part, but all other categories (average W/L, K/D, Killrate, Match Score) only include players with over 30 battles.

But the match average went up from 175 to 208 when I filtered.

Again, it's splitting hairs either way. The point I made is still accurate as all of the math-whiz's have already demonstrated (thanks Tarogato for example) and Johnny's past comments ingame and out have likewise demonstrated.

Maybe, but maybe your blowing it out of proportion. Either way, this is why I am even more disappointed in bad or cheating and cowardly behavior in a video game. This is why sportsmanship is a test and any self respecting player respects that.

All the remarks in this topic and others say a lot about the ones making them. Light smack talk is rivalry, which is great for gameplay, so its all relative.

I will do everyone here a favour and share something. One of my Grandfathers who comes from the old world said to me "You got to have respect", me being young and cocky I said "For who?". He replied, "For yourself." So I don't cheat or be cheap not because I would get in trouble, but because I am better than that.

I don't know what spreadsheet you are using, but global average MS in this spreadsheet is 205 for Season 4, 208 for Season 3 and 180 for Season 2.
