I have not had this issue, but it could be lag, or the amount of sound channels that your soundcard / DSP can generate simultaneously.

Hi everyone,

I just noticed I can't neutralize a Support Tower ECM with an UAV.
Is this expected behaviour?

Next I will try to counter the towers ECM with an ECM capable Mech.. let's see what happens.

Also support towers can apparently see through walls and solid stone and provide your location to the enemy even if there is no direct line of view between my Mech and the support tower.

This really bugs me, cause it deviates from the accustomed gameplay.

I was running gauss and got a crit ST
but the gauss didnt explode
thou I did lose a ton of ammo

Gauss ammo does not explode. Gauss rifle itself explodes if critted.

I don't have enough time to type out all the issues. Lets just skim over some favourites.
1) Falling through map bug which means your out of the battle until the next drop ship and you can sustain leg dmg (already lost a match because of this added feature) happens to often to say the patch was thoroughly play tested....YOU ARE LYING!
2) Games not switching when you hit the next segment meaning you play the same mode you can play in pubs.
3) Can't see numbers so dont know if its worth dropping

5) it took just days to realise OMG its one sided now that we are forcing ppl to play pub maps in CW which means automatically all clan mechs on one side vs their poor IS cousins...we better move those drop tonnages to highlight how much of a stuff up the rollout is. This made me lolz
6) so now you can join a different gametype (FW) only to play in pubs? this really added a new dynamic..... no wait it subtracted a dynamic and repeated past failures with what appears to be no foresight into their own game. Is it possible that the person with creative lead doesn't actually understand his own title and/or community.....

(Disclaimer: this addition was typed after team mates talked me into trying for format again! )

I really quite enjoy this patch. Faction play - maybe because there have been changes. Much better for queuing. I didn't like how before, there would be multiple planets all waiting for queues. We just didn't have enough players in faction play to make that happen.

The new single queue means that I am in a PUG within 5-10 min. whereas before, sometime it would be a 30 min. wait to even get into a game.

Good things and bad things were brought with the latest modifications to MWO. I like most of them.

But for now, this game continues to be bugged, and it seems it got somehow unstable with the last patch. There are the little things, and there are the big things...

I was on the middle of an invasion match in Faction Warfare when suddenly the game froze. Had to restart but when I tried to re-join it showed I cant go in. Some message like "invalid drop deck", "contains a mech currently in game".

Match trashed...

You used to be able to re-join a FW match when something rarely went wrong, now how do you do it ?

you will never listen to your comunity PGI do you? didnt played for 2 months because IS vs Clan balancing sucks hard like a pine tree and now i have to see you buffed clans again and nerved SRM's (WHY???) the last remaining counter against clan overkill and finaly !!->quickplay maps<-!! in FW so now we have these rambo pugs (idiots) from quickplay in FW also... wtf you serious PGI did you ever played your rubbish game?? congratulation for destroying FW as a whole, good job guys. you should deliver newspapers instead of mech packs, finaly time to uninstal and leave this masterpiece of **** for ever

You wont be missed, with the putrid spewing and rambling this post had, it is probably better for the community if more like you leave.

PGI, good job on this patch. I have stepped out of FW for a time, tried a match, had fun, I think bringing in some of the pubs was a good idea, it brought more bodies to get drops going in FW. I do see some of the pub tendencies get brought into FW, but it is not near as bad as some of the loudest of us like to call out. The people they complain about are still pubbing in the the pub queue and will still avoid FW, Though, it was a sneaky way of bringing respawn into normal matches lol. Overall, great patch, and the way you were on twitter watching the games, playing in them, and reporting the changes and hot fixes as quickly as you did was also great. Good job.

voting system not working, a planet that was 58% and many others below that, was not the planet that was next.
it's like there is no voting counting at all, it's just some random planet that gets selected

Allow me to interpret for you, in a less vile manner.

PGI has noticed that the disparity is not necessarily the equipment balance, Player skill disparity plays a large part. It would appear that the majority of skilled, organized groups...as well as experienced PUGs...are on the Clan side, leaving the IS to be populated more by the newer, inexperienced players. Or "potatoes," as we will refer to them from this point onward.

The most recent round of "balancing" (read that as: Nerfing specific things that play into the experienced people being able to dominate the inexperienced, while buffing things the inexperienced tend to gravitate toward) is specifically designed to drive the experienced players back to the Inner Sphere.

To PGI, "balancing" has nothing to do with equipment performance, it has to do with balancing the population.

Adding features to Faction Warfare without implementing some form of prerequisite experience (like certain achievements have to be unlocked, or XX number of matches played, or MANDATORY TUTORIALS) continues to be a recipe for disaster. The reason the experienced players play FW is to get away from the potatoes in Quick Play. We are all aware that there is no longer a functional matchmaker...T1s drop with T5s all the time. Believe me, I feel it.

At least, that's how I took it.
