Anyone on board with this should plus it like share it or whatever, but the one thing mechwarrior has always lacked is co-op play in campaigns. as someone who isn't a genius on the PC. i don't know how difficult this would be for them to apply to the game.

however it would really increase the hype and the lifespan of the game drastically.
just imagine trudging on in mechwarrior 4 mercs with 7 of your friends through the campaign.

thoughts and such always welcome.
lets show PGI that its posible and thats its what the game needs to take it to a 10/10 game

It wouldn't make a big difference for me. Would I like to see it? Of course. But there's a point of diminishing returns when it comes to PGI making promises about what features the game will have. So it's not that I don't want to see it, it's more that I don't think PGI can deliver an infinite amount of features and still deliver a complete game in 2018.

Ok, this is delusional. Coop, fine, I don't really care about it but if that's what you want, ask for it. But 8 player coop? Please. At best, it's a balancing nightmare; at worst, it's going to seriously mess up any attempt at an in game economy, which is pretty important if this game want's to be a serious Mercenary game.

I would love for there to be co-op.

Host: Head of the Merc Unit.
Co-op Player pilots of thing in the unit. Or Infantry/Tank Pilots if No Mech are Open for use.

Host Player: Picks a Pay % on Each mission that each of the Pilot gets and can Give bonus salvage to pilots as Needed from the Unit coffers.

More details of what MW5 will have or not have would be great.

Well, you have two plus YEARS to keep asking, no better time then to start asking now. Then again tomorrow. Day after that. Then the following.

Figure we will have over 500 threads asking for it by time it eventually gets here.

Sure we won't get tired of it by then...

Rather than just ranks and files, I like to see CO-OP morph into a truly fun and creative MMO experience.

For example, if you bring a mech with actual arm, then you can interact with equipment to turn them on (extra turrets, turn off turrets)

Maybe you need to hack a door, so people need to find ways to keep you alive while you do so.

Stand on different platforms during different sequences because of revolving platform that might trigger traps.

Best of all... none of those come with an instructional manual, so you have to figure EVERYTHING out.

Part of it comes from my experience with Age of Conan. Every raid, we literally had to try something new and tweak, and a raid level might take weeks to figure out. I like to see that with Co-Op. It will be fun as hell.

So, by 'fun and creative,' you mean 'shoe horn in every co-op puzzle mechanic developed in the last 20 years whether it makes sense or would actually add to gameplay.'
