Post Your Craziest/fun Build

A PPC. I've been slated many times, laughed at but it really does work (with ECM of course). Here is my last match (and probably my greatest ever).
It's hard work but with so much ECM on their team I had to keep shooting specific mechs to let the LRM's come in.
On my last stand I had to kill a Stalker, Night Gyr and Shadow cat who were capping the base.

Im playing around with viper currently. 3 flamers 6 small pulses. If it sounds familiar, it probably headshotted you in the hands of another player..
EDIT: double lb20x double lb10x dire wolf. By far one of my favorites.

- Gauss + ECM Cicada 3M
- 6cSL + cAC2 Arctic Cheetah
- 3cERML + 2cUAC2 Adder (not that crazy)
- 4 PPC + SRM6 Highlander 733P
- 4 PPC + 5 SPL Black Knight (4 PPCs in the arms looks so awesome)
- 2 PPC + SRM6 + 2SRM4 (w Artemis) Griffin (actually not a bad build)

I like my 3xLRM20 + 2xLRM15 + TAG + ERLL Night Gyr. Put a TAG in the heat and PopLURM.
Right now I am running a down-gunned DIrewolf with 7 CAC/2, 13.5 tons ammo, CAP, and lvl3 TC. It's like a siege engine.

- Panther 10p XL240 with a single jj, AC10 and 2 tons ammo. Cool down and range module. Make every shot count. Oddly was total joy to level.
- Quickdraw 4G, XL355, 14DHS, 4MPL, ASRM-6, ASRM-4 2 tons ammo (so again ya gotta make em count) endo and ferro, 2JJ, 8 pts shy of full armor.
- Quickdraw 5K, "poptart": XL350, 14DHS, 2ERPPCs, 4SPL, 2JJ, (rest is same as the 4G above).
- Top Dog. Std 300, 19DHS, 8spl and 1 PPC. Endo and 22 pts shy of full armor. Moves at 80kph with speed tweek.
- Black Knight 7. Std 300 (yup) 18DHS, 3ppc (high right and 2 in the right arm) and 5 sml. I wanted a std engine BK and this this is it, and it looks sweet. Even with the std it moves just a hair shy of 70kph.

Remove Artemis. Plus the downsizing of the weapons, plenty of space and weight. You even get to put on another 5 tons of ammo.

i have no idea why i'm successful with it. by right, i should be doing better with a uac20, but the lbx just clicks for me.
had more than a few occasions where someone tore off my left torso only for SURPRISEBUTTSECKS shotgun to the face.

ULTRAVIOLET SIEGE ENGINE
I think it does!
7 Clan AC/2 (with the heat reduction)
TC mk.II
CAP
16 tons ammo
I started with 8 CAC/2... but kept running out of ammo since 12 tons was not enough. I eventually settled on dropping a CAC in lieu of 4 tons ammo and a targeting computer but shaved armor off the arms and legs since I almost always just get cored.
I consider any mission to be a success now if I manage to run out of ammo.
Run it with three CAC in firing group 1 and four in firing group 2 (just split them across the body for corner poking) and you can run it with a simple 2 button mouse. Click left or right to fire the left or right guns. Fire at the same time for what seems to be an automatic gauss rifle cannon, or split them for TrollTastic Fun!
Then, put all three arm guns in some other firing group just in case you need to shoot down UAVs or enemies at extreme elevations.

I still run her when I need a break and have fun.
AC10 and dual LPL for direct fire, twin LRM10A for early damage and LOS CT slamming.
Jump Jets for maintaining missile lock, and crossing small ditch/hill to keep up with group.

You dont play a Peanut Butter for dmg numbers. You play it to win matches through scouting with immunity.
My absolute best damage game, was roughly 450dmg using 4 small pulses and a single MG, Crimson Straight, roughing up a couple enemy assaults in the rear. I got roughly 350,000 c-bills that match.
My typical scouting game (very good ones are easy on Polar Highlands) might see 50 total damage, and half a million c-bills (that's 500,000!~)
My "best games" are the ones where I do zero damage. That means I never got spotted.
I used to use tag in the PB, but it gave away my position too often, so I just settled on Spotting Assist bonuses without the Tag bonuses, and havent seen much of a c-bill drop, as I get found less frequently now.
