I'm looking for some Battletech eBooks, preferably in the ePub format. All I can find online is "Mechwarrior: Dark Age" books and after having read a couple of those, I'd like some Classic Battletech books. Can anyone reccomend a decent source for these?

NOTE: I must be able to read whatever the format is on an Android based device.

I've never found a legit source of the Classic Battletech novels in an e-book format. Hell, finding them in print can be a challenge these days.

There used to be some on amazon and more slowly coming out but for some reason catalyst took them down, you might check their site.

I have a softcover print of The Legend of The Jade Phoenix Trilogy that I re-read all the time;

Not really relevant, but I don't understand why someone would prefer a .pdf over a good old fashion printed book. It's amazing how many BattleTech paperbacks are floating around out there in used-book-store-land.

So Im new to the battletech books, really new, just read the first one and now I'm reading daggers and swords. Since mechwarrior 2 I was aware that there were a giant novel behind the game, but now that mwo is out I got curious about it. Well I downloaded from epubbud and I'm wondering if there's illustrations on these books, since it describes so much the visuals. Don't know if the ebooks just cut it out so it could be a small download. Anyone who ever read a print could tell me? Thanks.

I had all the books, the illustrations are crude at best. The BT sourcebooks for the TT game were great even though I never really played TT. You can wiki a lot of stuff though and get a good feel for visuals.

I know this is a older post, but man! thank you so much for this link, I dug up a few of my old Battletech books last month but read through them quickly. this just gave me a ton more to read :D

This is the link I used but I cannot find two of the books:

1. Shadows of War; and

2. Falcon Rising

Both of these are not accessible for download. Would someone be able to PM me to send the copies?

Thanks for any help!

doubtful they'll have very many. you'll see from my other thread, I just dropped about $80 on the "Blood of Kerensky" trilogy of books....the ones that basically started it all almost.

these were used paperbacks in very good condition. if you want a laugh, go to amazon.com and see what they want for new....$200 and up.

was talking about books with girl in the office the other day and mentioned what I paid, the consensus ebooks, are lacking...there is just something missing from the reading experience by not holding on to the book and flipping a page.

I'm surprised by prices of these books. Was trying to find "Decision at Thunder Rift" which suppose to be 1st novel but it is around $40!

They can be gotten legally, and at reasonable prices.
