My hunch is that now that ~quad-MG's are useful, it pretty much guarantees that we won't be getting the Piranha. If I had to choose, I'd rather go without the Piranha than have them nerf back the MG's a week after it's released.

Maybe they should release the actual, mythical 6xMG Spider as a second hero..

Tried 4 MG 4 SPL Kitfox. Tears through armor and components like wet tissue paper, and runs cold to boot. A++++ would run again.

Gotta love this because it made so many lights more viable. Was supposed to play marauder IIC today but after few matches I just started playing around with Huginn, spider 5k, pirate's bane and victor. Maybe I should try that small pulse/mg kit fox too, looks like it would absolutely butcher other lights and pop everything else pretty fast from behind.

I run similar. Just replace the SPLs with ERMLs, and you got my KFX.

7 SPL Kitfox with 17 DHS was already a cool-running beast... and the C-DHS capacity increase made it even better.
In group queue, during heavy pushes it is the best light mech to be in. It outdamages the Oxide by a long shot.
For example, a 16 DHS 6xML

A Kitfox with 4xMg's... plus other stuff... is just so much fun right now!!

As soon as you find a mech, preferably a series of mechs, missing armour its glorious... (I really need to remember to be patient though, as its still too much face time if the enemy mech is fresh)
