I don't have the smurfy link at hand, but my overall favourite PXH is a the PXH-2 with XL270, 6JJ, 2xERLL (one arm), 3xML (the other arm), 12 DHS, ECM.

Swap the ERLL's for LL's, and I think it should be a nice mid-range focused build. There's one energy hardpoint free, if you feel you can do without some JJ or DHS.

Edit: other than that, the 1B with a pair of regular PPC's, ECM, enough JJ for poptarting, and 1-2 ML for backup.

Well, you can put regular LLs on my build above or I guess go to LPLs, but long range complements ECM better.

Well if you're looking for mid-range builds I'm not sure I have much for you as far as the 1B is concerned. The 1K is my all-time favorite with this build: PXH-1K

It runs real hot, so it requires fire discipline, but I get good numbers with it.

If you're really stuck on the 1B though, then... I dunno, maybe something like this...?: PXH-1B

I'd call both of those short range. Mid-range is 400-600 capable.

Well if that's the case then the PPC builds that have already been posted in this thread should be right up OP's alley. But he seemed to consider a regular PPC long range so...
