Being a long time fan of the Battletech and MechWarrior franchise, I was wondering if there were any plans to introduce some of the iconic melee battlemechs such as the hatchet man. Through the table top game these styles of ambush mechs proved to be an interesting, and sometimes pivotal mechs in large scale operations.

At the start of MWO during closed beta where several movements to implement melee into the game and all and everyone where shoot with the argument that melee combat, picture in picture and several other things that would elevate this game above ftupid mode shooter would be impossible to implement because of game engine restrictions.
