When they pop up they are usually voted for 80% because of the Holiday challenge. However they seem to come up seldom in my experience and a few people I have talked too said the same.


Can we give it a heavier weight or please please STOP using game modes and maps as challenges? Random chance shouldn't play such a huge role in whether I get a chance to compete for prizes.

I went on Twitter and sent a message to Russ but since I've never heard of them making a mode weigh more in the random queue I bet they can't even do it.

I was super irritated this afternoon trying to get mine in. Those few times when it was an option, one got voted down, the rest were all defense. I think I had to wait for about two and a half hours before I finally got an Escort Attack. I'm just glad that we managed to win it.

Luckily I won the Zombie Mech in the previous challenge because trying to get a second one useless. Played I think 3 maybe 4 hours and got ONLY 3 Escort mission and every one was a Defend. Totally impossible to complete the challenge when the mode only shows up about 1 out of every 10 matches. They should just give everyone a Zombie Mech for free at this point because its not really a fair challenge if you don't get the opportunity to actually complete it.

I played escort 4 times in a row earlier today. Got back on tonight and second match in....escort again.

Took me about 4 hours to get a win on offence. The mode rarely showed and I was put on defence about 90% of the time.

The order of frequency in my matches seems to be Skirmish->Escort->Domination->Assault->Conquest.

If Escort comes up it get's chosen most of the time. I'm usually surprised on the few occurrences it doesn't happen.

Tried 7 matches today, only one escort--which was Defend. **** it, I don't want no Zombie Atlas anyway. *pouts in a corner*

Completed it a couple of times last night as the attacker. The problem isn't just getting the mode to pop, but being on the right side and winning.

12 games, Escort showed up once, and of course Defender!

I get escort pretty often. Winning it, specially on offence, is quite different story.

Still struggling, got two escort def after some 7 games, now I'm getting no escort option again for several games.

This will take a loong time... and I was hoping PGI understood that these game mode specific criteria with an RNG map selection mechanic is downright awful and frustrating.

I guess that's why we get a "grand prize" type award for completing it (worth 750MC). I didn't get the atlas statue on day 2 after almost 3 hours of gameplay but was able to squeak out a zombie atlas last night.

Not managed to get to be the attacker yet. Always defend. Only been trying 6 hours though

Got seven before I gave up, 6 defend 1 attack that we lost because my elite team decided it was best to hill hump the enemy to death, so the Atlas got on the drop ship and got away while they were humping the hills. I tried to get to it but a Raven just does not hit hard enough to kill a battleship...

PGI can keep their statue I had enough with trying to get escort matches, took me 5 - 6 hours to get the ones I got.

I think the real issue with this is that today (and Thursday's) had so many criteria to get completed. Unlike most challenges you can do any way this needed you to not only get escort, but then to be on the attacking team and then to actually win.

Doesn't look like they have increased the chance on escort coming up which they probably should have.

Might have been better to have made is play X number of escort matches and get 80 as a match score for example.

That would have been better, like I said 6 hours, 7 escort matches only 1 was attack and we lost...

I don't really like this daily in particular, considering the factors needed to get it.

1. Escort is not always available and when it is, it's not a 100% guarantee that it will be chosen
2. If you do happen to land on Escort, you have 50% chance of being on Intercept
3. Assuming you finally get Intercept, you HAVE to win. Based on my experience, Escorting tend to have a higher chances of winning compared to Intercepting.
