title kinda says it all... why are there not 2 separate leader boards?
also.. How about a filter, that cuts out under a certain number of games, or perhaps a min number to get on the leader boards, to help curb the smurfing. It hurts the new players, playing against those folks as it is.. No need to give more incentive to do it, by being on the boards.
I sorta thought, that make it something like a vet account to get on boards, perhaps 100 games? maybe need 20 matches during the season after that to qualify? (though you could show their stats before that to themselves, just not on the official boards?
Just some thoughts to make them more useful, for those that try to use them to judge their play, and if they are improving and such ya know?

I am also interested in separate leaderboard. It is not vital but would be nice to have.

It is just ridiculous to see top leaderboard with pilots that always drop in group.
Shot focusing fire and kill, and then when you are critical, you just hide and teamates finish the work. ----> amazing stats.
In solo q, this happens so rarely.

They really should at least have a minimum required amount of matches played before you're placed on the board, say 25, same as the amount it takes to get your full cadet bonus the first time; check how many of the top 25 players on the kdr board have gotten that in under 20 matches for example.

I've seen a lot of top players, even emp or eon dropping solo, and they did average dmg and k.
But guess what? they are very good when dropping 5-6 man team, and pumping up k/d and w/l ratios.
Teamplay, a lot of good teamplay.
That's the reason why pgi should split group and solo leaderboards: dropping solo there is no teamwork 90% of drops

It's so sad that the Leaderboard is still essentially a place holder item. Remember when they said there would be seasons and rewards for the winners? Right now, it's still completely meaningless. Tier 1 in the same Leaderboards as Tier 5, solo same as group queue. It's meaningless.

Yea, i agree.. they need lots more work.. BUT... it is a start.. IMO this game has a lot of place holder stuff,, and i just hope they get around to fixing much of it over the next few years.
the game has gotten to a point that all these little things are starting to be fixed and focus'd on as the base game has gotten pretty solid, even if balance isn't the best.. But to look back at the last year, from steam launch to now, i think it has some pretty huge changes when you look a bit deeper.
We didn't even have leader boards last year at this time..
