Unity Engine now supports the Vulkan API, promises 60% performance improvement out-of-the-box

and that is without having to deal with any specifics of the Vulkan API

Mmm
Luxurious
Whish MWO would have it so "easy" and getting support for a newer API without PGI's efforts
All the while CryTech is struggling

As a reminder:
Vulcan is cross platform, not attached to Windows 10, or even Windows

It's a graphics API that was derived from AMD's Mantle as a sort of next-gen OpenGL. It requires less overhead then most APIs, and it's designed out of the box to be multi-platform. In short, it should reduce the amount of resources necessary to render graphics while also making those processes smoother than other similar APIs. Offers many of the advantages of DirectX 12, but can run on Windows 7 and newer, Linux, Android, etc. Built for multi-core processing support from the start (unlike DirectX 11 which was adapted to multi-cores).

Looks like a Kintaro (especially in the shoulders).

Oooh! Melee! That looks awesome! That's what I want in MWO too! Melee finally making an appearance in a Mechwarrior game for the first time would be absolutely epic.
