This reminds me that i still have a very unfinished version of my Sketchup Thug - (only the cockpit) need to move on.
(after the Yellow Jacket - thanks for this nut to crack Metus Apache warrior)

I really do enjoy reading your updates on it, and it forced me to do some reading on Gauss rifle mechanics... they actually wouldn't create a big recoil, rather a bunch of small ones... that would be reduced in effectiveness based on the length of the accelerator being used.... This also let me have a more in-depth conversation with some of the guys at work in our weapons R&D section that is playing with a reverse application of the Gauss principle with diamagnetic materials.
