I love the "Tail fin" or "Spoiler" as we call it here. It reminds me of a stock car at the speedway I used to drive. (similar colour too)

Anyway, great content. Fantastic work.

Great artwork! Like the BT style on the one side and the gundam style on the other. First one looks professional!

Hey All,

I dont post very much but I love drawing mechs. Anyway, here is a Battletech inspired mech design. Obviously the low slung arms wouldn't be great for the whole meta thing but its fun to draw anyway. Didnt really base it on anything in particular but it has been mentioned that the cockpit in reminiscent of a Maddog. Anyway, just thought I would share

Enjoy

Good drawing but ... have you ever seen any kind of BT inspired mech so called "design"? Posted Image I did not. EACH, I mean really EACH mech in BT environment is not able any kind of movement because of parody skeletal topology. It cannot move just thanks to nonsense positions of joints and many obstacles in the shape of body and limbs.

Not sure I completely agree man. Alex (main mech designer) has done a fantastic job of making sure that the robots joints etc have clearance and look as though they could be functional.

WOW I love your work. As oO JimPansen Oo said, a fantastic blend of Gundam and Battletech. Do you have a page where you display your work? Have you ever had any of your designs made into 3d images for printing? You are now one of my new favorite Mech Designers. Looking forward to seeing much more.

These are excellent. The feet are a little small for my tastes on several of them, but that would not stop me from taking them out on the field. I especially like the ost, and that first one of your randoms.
PS: Give your mechs names, I want to be able to talk about them. Posted Image
PPS: Variants? Can you make some variants of these? Especially that first random. It would look so good with a UAC on that left shoulder.

Thanks man! Its funny that you say Gundam cause its like the furthest thing from what i am trying to achieve in my drawings. There are some designs from them that I like but for the most part I dont really get into them. Am I weird for saying that?

As for me posting, most of my work goes right to instagram, and generally there is something new everyday. Here is a link to that: https://www.instagram.com/ablackwe/

Agreed on the small feet front! Not the first to point that out either so clearly its an area for me to work on. As for names, man... I would be spending so much time coming up with and going over names that I wouldnt have time to be making any art haha. Feel free to name and discuss though :D haha

As for variants, I could I spose. But again that would mean I wouldnt be making anything new :D
