I searched the forums to see if this has been mentioned before, but couldn't find any reference to it.

It's just a technicality but I don't know if it will come into Faction 'Mech availability at some point, so I thought I'd point it out. in the 3025 and 3039 TROs the -3M is both described and named as a Marik unit. The data page for it here says it is a Capellan unit.

Is this a technical or oversight error, or was it switched for Faction balance purposes?

I'm just guessing but I think they probably switched sides.

You mention a data page "here" where is here?

As a hard and fast rule the designation tells you where it is from. M is Marik. D Davion L Liao S Steiner K Kurita.
