Hey PGI, I know you have this whole graphics love relation thing going on, but can you make a game that we can actually SEE?

Implement a filter that culls SFX that happen in your view within 10-20 meters or so of your cockpit. It's a super simple rendering method statement/check that you add to the particle handler. You can even make an optional option for it if you really want.

- Well... you have no MG and AC2... so you got hit by AC2 from distance and got blinded... right? Or take direct hit by Srm and lbx.. As for me there too much blows.

That was a spectator camera. It's worse if you're actually piloting it!

- But... that is. You see like pilot of mech you spectate. So, the pilot see the same in same time... no?

If it really bugs you try using http://www.guru3d.co.../rivatuner.html that's what we used back in the day to alter Quake engine, might be considered cheating here.
