people say buff exe, i say lern to masc. you can use the thing to gain instant acceleration so you can actually use it to maneuver better than any other assault class mech out there (with the possible exception of the spirit bear or xl400 banshee).

I look at it this way.
If this game has more than 2 mechs per weight class there will not be a way to not have underperformers. It seems easy to fix, but every game I have played has really good and bad choices and they just seem to move around.
Just be glad that the EXE has a useable niche. I love playing clan uac 10s, just because. These were considered garbage guns by a large portion of the player base. I could really stack up damage and help create a win with 2uac10s by adopting a certain playstyle. The worst thing that ever happened was the appearance of the KDK3. It was a cheat sheet on what to do and and this translated into all multiple AC builds. So my advice to all, be careful what you ask for or your fun mech that actually has a personality while performing may get the bat.

The real buff the Executioner really needs is massive improvements to Hoverjets.
You still have Timberwolf level firepower, and that's usually above average in general... you simply need to maximize the usage of MASC.

I run this build on my EXE and it is my second best performing mech behind my Black Knight

I don't see EXEs in game much
and for me the big test is the complaint test
you know something is working when people are calling for it to be nerfed on the forums

Its not a Hunchback, without high mounted hardpoints there is no real reason to have buffed JJs on it. What it has now is already sufficient for most purposes.
"Lore" says that EXE was capable of making 120m high jumps, but we can't have good things, because the sheer amount of whine drowns all reason, including actual good suggestions on how you can have powerful JJs and not degrade this game into MW4.
And if anyone really needs such massive improvements that'd be Hoverlander and Hoverlander-IIC. But instead of making JJ capable mechs into what they are supposed to be PGI just buffs their structure time and again. Victor is just the most recent example (still useless).

The ability of Clan engineers to actually "design" and "develop" anything is way overrated, most of their tech and mech designs comes from StarLeague era, they simply kept the ability to produce it, unlike IS that drank itself to stone age.
Entirely wrong, considering the large amount of equipment they invented or improved.
They even have a term for when they made all sorts of new stuff, the Golden Century.
Iron Wombs, UAC10, 12 ton gauss, half weight missiles and AMS, or pertinent here, OMNIMECHS, MASC.
