The only thing that still needs fixed is freaking hitreg, MG's are finally in the "almost useful" bracket and somebody has to cry..

My vipers, kit foxes, shadow cat, nova.... disapprove this thead - whether humorous or not! D:< (as does every light made a little less rubbish but still living in constant terror of the next class wide kick em whilst they are down light nerf)

The thing that wouldn't really not make mgs never not OP anymore would be to inflate all stock mg hardpoints by 6.5 times. Then mechs could spend tonnage to make the op weapons less op by boating them exclusively without any other weapons or armor or xl engines.

2014 to present: forumites repeatedly beg for machine guns to be fixed
end of 2016: a single forumite threatens to jeopardize machine guns immediately after they've been slightly improved even though they're really not even close to being fixed yet
2017: Emperor Trump learns of these machine guns, reads the OP's fake news, and rages on Twitter for 2 hours about how he knows more about the machine guns than anybody else while demanding they be nerfed into oblivion

Making a weapon more than just a joke sure is going overboard. I can't wait until PGI corrects its mistake and makes MGs only have 100 rounds of ammo per ton, and .5 DPS. That'll teach us for wanting a weapon to be worth something!

I just realized: There are no skill tree nodes for machine guns in the skill tree preview video! MGs will be technically nerfed come February. Posted Image

They are so OP, that after running my Arrow with 6x MG builds for 4 battles, I gave entirely on them and just run the mech with triple ER Large Lasers now.

Not sure if sarcastic post or not. I think the DPS change has more to do with the lesser cone of fire than the increase in actual damage.

What a genius idea to cover your proposals and reasonable balance observations and ideas up by calling them sarcastic. Such a good way to show pgi that discussing about balance can't be taken seriously by players anymore, since they never listen anyway. Cudos! Show them!

Seems rather fair since assaults only can go that fast with MASC, so noone should be able to go faster.

When we are at it, remove gauss charge time, it's completely impossible to hit any moving target with this abomination of a mechanic. Reducing cERPPC heat to 8 and remove splashdamage to make it 15dmg in one spot should further encourage people to not try making the game unfun for me and everybody else.

What hasnt been touched yet is the fact that lights can jump higher then assaults, too. That is outrageous, since assaults jj's weigh 4 times as much! I'm not saying assaults should be able jump 4 times as high, but it's their goddam right to be more efficient at jumping when investing more tonnage.

If you have any faith at all, you know I'm right.
