... and then everyone congratulates the last surviving assault mech who got there last and cleaned up the enemy team, as if he single-handedly carried your team to victory.
Meanwhile, you're just silently spectating, like

To be fair, they were all energy builds with no ammo in the legs, or Clan mechs with ammo stored elsewhere , or they ran out of ammo (that one too!!)

That is a depressingly good point. Been seeing that a lot lately. I leg a Dire Wolf and my team still proceeds to strip the CT and both ST's before finally killing it.

need to farm that damage, yo!
Of course, the same damage it takes to leg these fatties, you can usually core through the rear CT, and not have that problem.

Well, it can cut both ways. My original AoS become a nine-kill game because I ran a quarter of the map (old TT) to find a DWF with two open yellow legs, burned one off with my lasers (long out of ammo), waited for them to cycle and then burned the other one off, all while my two remaining teammates poured fire into his still-armored torsos. But that sortof proves it: In public games, legging anything that isn't a light (or pseudo-light) is bad play.

Turning the entire enemy team or splitting them for your team then dancing like a epileptic chicken to dodge damage and continue to draw enemy fire. Then finally dying. When you go into spectate your team hasn't moved or even tried to engage the other team making your whole effort kinda pointless. true pugy story.

I give you some hints:
1.It's 2/3rds the height of a hunchback.
2.Has no structure quirks of any kind.
3.Has the bare minimal of weapon quirks too.
4.It starts with a "F" and ends with a "R"
5.It used to be topdog before the ACH, but now every other light is better than it.

This point actually isn't true. The Jenner and Raven had different roles than the FS9 without any being the clear winner, well except until the Oxide got buffed enough...then the Oxide was the best light for a while.
Also, even now a number of lights are worse or equal to the FS9. Mist Lynx, Commando, Wolfhound, Spider...
Regardless, yeah the Fuegostarter could use some help...then again all lights could.

In the age of quirks, at least one variant of the COM, WLF and SDR are better than any FS9. I'm not sure about the MLX. It's not good, but have you tried driving a FS9 lately? I have. They're really, really awful. Might actually be the worst light chassis.

I'm gonna have to take a MLX out for a spin again soon, it's been a while. I know I'd rather drive any of about five COM builds. And that's...whoof.
