When they ask the major units for their input on what changes they'd like to see?

last i heard they let MS set it up. im thinking they should widen their pool of feedback, this is a way to do that.
also, the last thing we heard was get your thoughts in order for the roundtable after new years, and this is us getting them together. immediatly after 4.1 there was a flood of thoughts and ideas. this helps to sift through those ideas, and pick out the best ones, because im not all that confident PGI will do that themselves.

you mean like with 4.1?
where they took what they believed to be the best ideas and incorporate them into the new design. How does them actually improving FW with what was player feedback, somehow leading you to feel that they are not capable of doing the same thing with the next meeting?

i didnt say they were incapable, i just said they wont. look how many threads have shown up with ideas. would YOU sit there and sift through EVERY idea thats been announced since 4.1 started? i tried. some are gems, but some are meh, and its a pain sorting through everything. thats why i didnt just make this a straight poll.
the whole POINT is to try and make PGI's, or whoever ends up setting it up, life a lot easier. consolidate the best stuff, bring it to the faction roundatable next month. i thought you of all people would be on board that idea BLOODWOLF.

1. Loyalist
2. Small units.
3. I.S. side in general.
With the launch of the Maurader IIc this month, most mercs will be on the clan side. We will still have a population imbalance and a tech imbalance. Add to that the pugVpug scouting imbalance and you will have most of the same ingredients for failure as phase 3.
At this point I'd rather PGI waited to launch phase 4 until the new rewards system and the new skills system are in place.

I think even more important that who will sit at the round table is to make sure that we have clearly described ideas that are fleshed out through discussion and have attached pros and cons. There are about 5 different ideas for each of the major suggested fixes and coming up with what the community thinks are most important (and beneficial for the game as opposed to special interests) and those should be sifted through first. Organizing these ideas by topic would be even more helpful i.e. FW, Immersion, role warfare, etc. Well put together ideas that have already gone through a community discussion will have an even better chance of being accepted by PGI at the roundtable

my goals for this thread. just put in the things you like the best. if its import to others as well, and a majority of people second nominations and so forth, it will show more clearly what the community thinks.

I'll Nominate Kanajashi. He actually gives detailed objective information about the subjects at hand, plus he is pretty analytical.
No doubts, analytical is what we need right now and Kanajashi input is through as well as concise. More than an acceptable pick, IMHO.

True and i would add another point.
The long match queues.
I know this issue is matchmaking/Population related but a long root cause analysis is needed if PGI wants to address this issue. As for Phase 4, first lets how the Skill System affects the game environment. Most players already anticipate lots of balancing issues and holding Phase 4 is a must.

That's right. We used to host Roundtable discussions on FW.
But those who did dwindled down...played other games...left...got burned out...so we don't do them anymore.
