As for the bronies on this or any other forum, i have nothing against them as long as the pony stuff is kept in the appropriate places.

As for the show, im rather neutral about it since the animation and voice work is really great and the main target group are pre-teen or early-teen children, i just dont understand why grown men would watch it, maybe because they use the cartoon to revert to the state of mind they had 10 years ago and feel like everything is made of careless hapiness and rainbows.
I used to watch a LOT of Cartoon Network, and thats one of the reasons i wield english so well many years later. Dexters Laboratory, Edd Ed & Eddy, Cow & Chicken, Courage the cowardly dog will always have a special place in my heart.

On the other hand, i remember one time when me and a bunch of my friends were hanging around during the evening hours, and got attacked by a larger group of what i presume were soccer fans, and few of our "friends"( and we knew eachoter for a couple of years so they were no random people from facebook) ran at the first sign of trouble basically leaving the first ones that got hit to be stomped into the ground (me included).
So i agree to the main theme of MLP, friendship IS magic, because it can fool and decieve you without any effort at the moment you will least expect it.

It's times like those that you know who your real friends are I guess.

Also the show was made for both young children, girls predominantly, but also the parents, male and female, who have to watch the otherwise mindless drivel they call children shows. The same things that make Dexters Laboratory, Edd Ed & Eddy, Courage the cowardly dog and Fosters home for imaginary friends appeal even now to adults is what is part of mlp.

Anyways, it's ok to not like the show, I hate cow and chicken. It's for me the pure essence of mindless drivel. Also don't let anyone know but I tried watching the previous 'generations' of pony cartoons and man is that horrible. Worse than barbie. (I have young cousins and nieces, what you gonna do)

ps. it's on topic, I hate (previous gen) pony :(

Oh look, its arsey, thumping his chest about his service. Gee, you sure do get bent out of shape when others do it. Where have you been arsey, I been looking for you in drops...... And what? Posting in a non-brony thread? I thought you guys kept yourself locked away in your little leper colony over there. Just had to come in and try to justify your existence, I see. Still looking for you, boy....

Well, this actually makes sense. My older brother has a 1 year old daughter and someone needs to keep an eye on her constantly, so anytime she watches a cartoon everyone in the room is basically forced to do that also.
Still, as a 23 year old man growing up in the suburbs of a large yet dying city somwhere in eastern europe i just cant see the appeal of the show.

Anti-Pony Thread; MWOMercs Tested, Finn and Jake Approved!

But seriously. On another forum, I had considered a forum game called Assault on Equestria, where an elite team blasts the suckers to ****, along with an interdimensional army and fleet. But then I remembered what Bronies do to those kinda threads. So damn, I won't get to speak my piece, even though they do.

Umm...why not? Just don't post in the Pony Thread, that sorta thing is what this thread is MADE for. Needs more creative pony-destroying content, as long as you restrict it to the ponies, not the Bronies.

Edit: In fact, since people are being slow, let me give you a hand. Here. Pony hatin' goodness!

Nothing's stopping you.

As long as the game relates to the dislike of the show vs the dislike of bronies, the mods won't have any issue with it.

The only reason I popped my head in here was because I saw a few posts start to lean more towards the dislike of bronies, which, even if not necessarily calling any members out by name, is still collectively judging and insulting other members of the forum.

As long as the game relates to the original purpose of the topic, nobody's going to stop you, and if any members from the other thread try to derail it, the mods will be equally as fast to silence them.

Plus, interactive and creative content is good. A thread like this is pretty hard to stay on topic, and I understand that most issues people have with the show relates to the actions of bronies on other forums. Being creative helps engage other members to do the same, which makes it less likely that the topic will dwindle off to insults, and less likely we'll be poking our heads in.

Hate ponies and everything and everyone associated with them. [Redacted].

I am sure there are numerous pony forums where these people can go to discuss how much they love eachother but instead they choose to troll everyone everywhere because they know it upsets people.

What do ponies have to do with mechwarrior? Nothing. Why are there ponies here? [Redacted]. Nobody that can't wants to see that. There is no love and peace when the ones preaching it are starting the wars and fueling them.

The irony of posting one children's show blasting another children's show is amusing to me.

I like where this is going. But I hope this is not a ban-bait stuff... :D

Anywho... what the frak is a "brownie" (bronie? bwarnie? Barney? Bonny M.?) anyways?... I never understood the meaning of the word itself but i do understand its related to the lovers of the show...

Among thousands of good shows that could be necroed... why that one?... why? :D

A brony is a (most of the time) male fan of the show "My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic". There is no other meaning behind it. Female friends call themself pegasister or brony as well.

It isn't like the old show was necrod. It is the franchise that got restarted. The new show is nothing like the old one. To compare the old with the new is like comparing apples to a fruit salad.

Well i cant say the differences... i have only brief memories from the old show and i only saw small stuff from the new one. It never caught my attention nor entertain me any bit. In overall, i believe the concept is back, only that it just got adapted to today's kids modern way to learn and entertainment. (and somehow attracted the wrong audience too...) I serioulsy dont understand what pulls them to watch that show...

As long as you don't start to attack bronies, all is fine.

You can attack the show all you want (as long as you do it in this thread) and we will all have a good laugh, if you try to do it in a funny way. Some of us pony fans even add content to this thread, because we think a good laugh is better then hatred.
