It also just hit me that the "ponies" aren't technically ponies, they're unicorns. Ponies don't have horns on their foreheads. So, apparently, the Bronies must now call themselves...Bronicorns...*rolls on the ground laughing maniacally, he also bangs his fist on the ground occasionally as he realizes how stupid Bronicorn sounds...*

Can you imagine my confusion? Can you?!? I thought this was supposed to be the anti-pony-topic, yet it seems like this thing is mostly run by bronies at this point and turned into a repeating discussion as to why the show is not for little girls only but adults as well, including references and all the stuff which is supposed to make it good....

Srsly, you got this topic and now you can't even stay on topic for a damn page, this is ridiculous!

Start hating on ponies already, or continue with it at least...

I would like to congratulate the anti's on hitting 19 pages so fast, even if about a page of that was redacted by mods. However,
Can we at least agree not to drop the festive F-bomb? I don't mind the use of the phrase freaks to describe what would be (by our worlds standards) freakishly colored, biologically impossible horse-things. There is a legit reason for that. Hell, it even happened with our shows, and further back to the old school bugs bunny stuff.

While the target audience may be young, the people actually making the show are older, and they draw from what they are familiar with. Simple as that.


Hell, I've watched some of the stuff I used to growing up early-mid 90s, and good lord, there wasn't just old/odd references, there was clearly adult material included.

So, in conclusion, just because the show includes references like that, doesn't mean it's target audience should be different. Also, MLP still sucks.
