I don't recall seeing that rule in place at all. The pony thread dates back to the end of October when the forums came out.

Oh you meant pony literally. I thought this thread was gonna be about some kind of mech I've never heard of... Although I admit to an irrational fear of horses, I can in no way condone the slaughtering of their children. And besides... The mech is essentially the warhorse of the 31st century. It is like being sick... once you puke, you feel better. Also, this thread is a pony free zone, so it feels refreshing enough knowing it just exists. We have no need of rabidly pumping friendly propaganda up anyone's backside to keep it alive. There is no sugar rush fueled ADD stupidity here. That is what our antagonists are for, to inject stupidity and refuel the drive. This isn't a race, we've already won simply by being.
