The massive Jenner CT is one of the most hated things about it; you can hit it from almost any direction. I personally am no jenner pilot but I core these poor things out so often-- and lights deserve some love.

The king crab's CT is absolutely atrocious, so much that even if you torso twist and shield, you're still going to get cored out by anyone with competency in their aim on components.
It certainly doesn't help that the damn thing gets no armor and structure, save on the arms-- which never get hit anyway! :<

Which mechs are your top picks for getting a hitbox rework, though?

If they were willing to add separate HP and hit boxes to the giant missile racks, the Timber Wolf. A hitbox rework would definitely help, and would also probably make those SRMs finally go into their rightful place on the big ears. I also wish the Mad Dog was somehow fixable for its hit boxes, but I'm pretty sure that thing can't be made not terrible, just because of its shape.

Direwhale. That CT can be smacked from a massive 240 degree frontal arc...

Jager and Rifleman's antennas really shouldn't be counted as CT. Posted Image

Actually, being XL friendly is Shadowhawk's selling point. It is easy to roll damage with it.

Also, Atlas. The bottom part of its front crotch actually counts as rear CT o.O Talk about giving a cheap shot to a big brawly dude by punching them in the nuts...

Timbie missile racks came to mind first. Crab too, but I don't know if the little crab can be fixed this way.

true i just find the ct very squishie compaired to other mechs, considering i have been 1 shot by a kodiak in it. it just needs alittle love. but the grey death really strikes the balance with its quirks

Being one-shot by a Kodiak can be applied to a lot of Medium mechs. Shawk is nothing unusual in that regards.

To be fair, have one shotted assaults in my KDK. Positioning OP.

I'm not sure there are 'Mechs with bad hit-boxes so much as bad geometry.

There's a really annoying spot on the top of the Raven which counts as rear CT.

I rarely have problems with it, but it really sucks when I just suddenly die to a shot that should've made a small dent in my front CT armor.

While the dragon is brought up, is there any particular reason a IIC variant of it was never made?

I wish they could have separated HP and geometry on Phoenix Hawk's gun from it's arms.

if a mech has a protruding torso some of that should be side torso, there are a lot that are not like that. They need to fix that on any mech with a protruding torso. not all of the protrusion needs to be side torso but it definitely shouldn't be the massive amount of center torso that so many of them are currently

Because it was made near the end of the Star League and was never picked up by SLDF (they wanted SHD-2Hb instead), which means Kerensky never had any Dragons with him on his Exodus, which means Clans would not have the design to base the IIC version on.

Dragon was picked up by mostly the Combine, for obvious reasons.
