[Rift Hawk]

Reformatted my PC today and attempting to redownload the game.

ETA: 5 hours

Stopped download. Checked connection. Everything fine.

Start re downloading of Witcher 3. Finished in 3-3 1/2 hours.

Start MWO download again. ETA 5 hours.

Seriously ?

5 hours to download the base 15 GB install on a 30+ mbps connection when I just downloaded 35 GB of Witcher 3 in like 3 hours ?

Last MWO reinstall took a little over an hour. That was 2 months ago.

Maybe they cut their DL server speeds to save money..

Have you tried installing from Steam? Their servers are pretty fast and you don't even have to use the Steam Launcher when you run the game. Just navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\MechWarrior Online\ and choose Bin32 or Bin64 and make a shortcut of the MWOClient.exe

Just started the steam version download and it cut 3 hours off the download time

Does anyone know if you can take the MWO folder from steam and apply it to the folder(s) the Launcher creates from the stand alone ?

Not that I really see a point but I'm curious.
